It seems impossible at first. When Jesus first comes and changes us into a brand new creature that we can speak and act for Him. An actual emissary for Him speaking in His name. But once we are saved then baptized with His Holy Spirit we are empowered, elected to speak as the very oracles, the very speech of God. Be encouraged that God will work in and through you to speak the things He wants spoken. Amos was not a prophet but God said "you are now". Whatever he says you are you can be.
Amos 7:14-15 NIV
Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.
[15] But the Lord took me from tending the flock and said to me, 'Go, prophesy to my people Israel.'
Be encouraged that God will work through you to reach many that can't easily be touched by others.
Ezekiel 2:5-6 NIV
And whether they listen or fail to listen---for they are a rebellious people---they will know that a prophet has been among them. [6] And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
Whether they listen or not is not our concern. We are to speak what He gives. He walks and talks in us and we are blessed to be His voices, His children.
