Why did the letters on this forum get so tiny all of a sudden and is there any way I can make them bigger again?

I haven't noticed a change. Perhaps you should check your browsers text size or zoom level. Are you using a different browser than usual?

How do I check my browser size? I doubt I am using a different browser because I don`t even know what a browser is so I definitely wouldn`t know how to change it!

A browser is the program you use to view the internet. If you tell me what browser you're using I can tell you how to check your zoom level.

Is this happening with any other site?

No, it is not happening anywhere else. Just here. I have Windows, is that my browser?

    Interesting...

Windows is your operating system. You probably use Internet Explorer to view the internet, no?

If you hold "control" on your keyboard and use your "rollie ball" on your mouse it will increase or decrease the size of the text.

Oh, and Fire Fox is light years ahead of internet explorer IMO :)

Yes, for those of us who were born before the computer age, these terms are foreign. I was getting nervous when Nick started saying things like operating system and browser!!! YIKES!!!!

Reba, did you try that rolly thing? It`s really nice. As the eyes get older we can make the print bigger. I am so grateful to Cleanfreak!

As for Firefox, that is also foreign to me. My husband does all the computer setting up for me, and I just point and click afterwards. As long as I don`t run into any problems like tiny letters appearing on my screen, I`m happy, but I will mention Firefox to him and see what he says.

Firefox has already sped past Internet Explorer in Europe. It's predicted to pass it up in the U.S. within 2 years. Explorer is so done... :thud:

So what is the basic difference between Firefox and Internet Explorer that someone like me (almost computer illiterate) could appreciate?

firefox has a auto spell check and for me or the reader that is very good.

Fire fox got rid of the ads

I dont know it its fire fox or what ever but the page looks cleaner. Not as much junk at the top.

Like up at the address bar fewer buttons

Its like the fox is just getting business done and the other guys are trying to impress with too much makeup
