I thought you were making an analogy about healing.
After all, that is what the thread is about.
And if you partner with false doctrine, then you should be ashamed.
No, I don't think I meant it as you perceived it (I was directly answering someone who was preaching against prosperity). False doctrine has no place anywhere; though Jesus already bore all shame at the cross...
Back to the topic, if it is not already exhausted...

I know this is not exactly the topic, but it is related:
John 6:38 says that Jesus only ever did the express will of the Father. Acts 10:38 says that Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed of the Devil. 1 John 3:8 says that the reason Jesus was made manifest for us was to destroy the workS (plural) of the Devil).
Therefore, God's will is Him healing us, each and every time.....and look at all those 38s...

chuckle chuckle chuckle, yes, yes, yes. (joy! joy! joy!) truly joyful! > Jesus healed everyone who came to Him. later, many were healed in the assembly of believers or by Yhwh through disciples throughout the world.
did you know that 'salvation' may be practically equivalent to 'healed' (I can't remember if this was from the languages or from the action Yhwh takes in a person who turns to Him. ) i.e. everyone Jesus saved or healed was completely saved and healed, not just a little bit, but through and through.

so when paul said in Galatian see with such big letters I write. It was from a lack of faith?

Then get delivered from that, Jesus is ready. You don't have to live in fear that you're going to self-destruct if wealth is put in your hands.
im sorry. I have been to the beach, I work for a wealthy place. I know that the homes are on such good locations its common for the wealthy not even repair them after a fire but to level them and rebuild. even now they do this.

so which is better? to know you have a dispensation to sin and to avoid that? if thine eye offends thee.. fits this. I could say the same about why I shouldn't go to the beach. the women there tempt me. its not them but me. so sometimes I should avoid see the string bikinis. work requires that I do go there. sometimes my wife asks me to go. but it does cause a sin issue.

beer for me isn't a sin. but for @lewis he cant even touch it. I wouldn't offer him a drink. go preach that argument to him. I know my flesh. I know that even though I haven been wealthy god has convicted me of keeping up with the jones. god forbid I would rather been poor and more like him then to be wealthy and like the so called wealthy Christians here who steal mens wages and the public all in the name of Christ. sure if one can do it. go for it but forget not the Lord.

hmmmm..... is that what Yhwh, Yeshua, Scripture, or Paul said ? ..... (nope).... he said he got something better..... :)
(and more than anyone we know today, so far. possibly ever.) (i.e. revelations beyond words, magnificent grace, sheer grace, and above all everything all together he had or had had - > the perfect experiential knowledge of salvation in Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior ! )

talking about now not when we died. paul died with out perfect vision nor speech. he mentions it a lot. with what big letters I write is implied that he was nearsighted. he had a scribe write his letters. when he did write that part of galatians he mentions see how I am?

talking/ it is written also/ about now. today, (and today then). ... so who is talking about when we died ??!!

paul isn't recorded as saying he died with perfect health. galatians if I recall was the closest book to his departure. yet In that book he says im ready to die and I have run the good race. there he mentions his eye issues. unless we have concrete proof that he was healed of that and other other issue of speech its conjecture to say he was or wasn't. but we do know that for some time he had that problem .

and perfect health is a relative term. a 90 year old man in perfect health compared to a perfect healthy teen are two different statements. I don't know many healthy 90 years that could run as I did in my youth in the army. sure they exist, but not as fast runners.

so ? no one said otherwise, did they ? (i might have missed it)
(re 269, not 270)

let me guess this right. he near his death by beheaded and god heals him of his speech issue and then his eyes so that he can articulate that he loved the lord more while they chopped his head off?

phillipians 4 mentions that he learned to abound in all.paul suffered at times for the lord. the thorn in the flesh what was that? a demon? a sickness? if it was a demon. then god let him have that for his good will and didn't bind that demon?

that doesn't make sense. and why guess ? what's the question ?

im a realist. if god said this or that then its not going to be fantasy. he said both I will bless you, but you will suffer.

healthy is a relative term to the person stating it. to date. I have few surgeries. oral surgeries only and I have a back issue from a car wreck and on hole in my knee. but compared to my youth. I could run circles around me at this age. I could train to run like that and so forth. but It would take much more to do that then say a man at the age 21. I was running the army two mile under 12 minutes then. I would have to run a lot to get there. my knees don't like running.

theres not a thing wrong with them save the hole in the right ligament on the top of the patella. no surgery is needed until its get bigger and for ten plus years it hasn't. but my knees tell me when I run they don't like it.

its called something age. we all age. does the bible say we wont age? if so quote me that verse?

what's the point of your last several posts ?! did someone contradict you ? or were you answering someone's question ?

shalom to all who love the truth in christ jesus the lord and savior !

the point is that some teach that we wont die from sickness, if we do its because of lack of faith and or sin. problem. age. body parts die out. that is why posted that. we will die. healing and healthy are perspective. a 90 able to walk is a blessing, but to me that isn't a blessing but normal functioning. though I have seen that to walk is a blessing. to me running, mma without the knee pain is a blessing.

Paul earlier in his career produced miracle healing like Jesus and Peter as described in the book of Acts. Later in life he seems to no longer do this as he has Luke his doctor give him medical treatment as described in an Epistle.

Well, in the natural, that surely would be wisdom. BUT, you CAN be delivered from any stronghold, for 2 Cor 5:17-21 promises as such, for when you were saved, you did become a new creation, and the old things, including the lusts of the flesh, passed away, and behold, all things of JasonC are new and ALL things of JasonC are OF GOD. I say these things to inspire you of course my brother.
Sin much of the time is like the Sun; you know it's there, but if you look at it you'll end up with a problem, because it burns your eyes, so even though it there you can still go about your business. Does Satan know what he's doing in trying to get people to sin, of course!
But the mere temptation to sin is NOT sin.
Otherwise Jesus would have died for our temptations.
And then we would have to say Jesus could not have offered Himself because He was tempted of the Devil.
The Devil tries to convince Believers that temptation = sin, when it does not. The temptation to sin is not sin.
Then he tries to make people feel guilty for being tempted, but then again, Jesus would have sinned, because He was tempted, yet He felt not guilty.
So, in the same vein as with the eyes and the Devil trying to put things before our eyes that are not right, he tries to put thoughts in too, but a thought occurring is not the same as taking that thought and dwelling on it and bringing forth evil fruit with it in your heart. We cannot stop thoughts from occurring (though we should take the time to put on God's armor everyday and plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves, that will cut down on them significantly), and these would be the same as temptations with the eyes, or whatever, and so that is why God instructed us to cast down every vain imagination (thought) and bring them captive to the obedience of Christ.

Is it easy? No, it's work, and it gets much easier as you set yourself to do it daily. The source of those thoughts is Satan, and so after doing the will of God (casting down/bringing captive) then you bind the Devil and tell him to shut up and depart from you, to go away into the ocean, or the bottomless pit, or the desert...wherever.

But wealth is not your problem I would say to you, I would say it is fresh revelation of 2 Cor 5:17-21. You CAN live a victorious life and not be bound by fear anymore.

And anytime the Devil tries to tell you to do otherwise or surround you with temptation just refuse him. Just disobey the Devil, say NO! Tell him, just for that, I am going to shut you down in my city, and start praying for revival in your city. He'll start to wise up.
