Why do soccer Moms drive mini vans? This is a serious question. Station wagons, exploerer's, and SUV's hold enough room for a lot of kids, why are mini vans picked the most?
 
Station Wagon? Yeah, those were cool in 1985. Minivans are lower to the ground than SUV's, and a lot easier to get people into and out of. Minivans are also less expensive and tend to hold their value better than SUV's.

Amusing story. I worked at a radio station a few years back where the station manager, AM news announcer, Office staffer, and myself all were men, and all drove minivans. One day a guy came in the office, looked around, and said "Oh, I thought this was the soccer mom convention!" :biggrin

(He was a guy who bought ads on the station :) )
