So, why is it that people can be born with sin, but it isn't possible that they're born with that particular sin?

I think you have a great point there. I have long held the stance that while acting out on homosexual urges is against the will of God, having those urges is no more sinful then having the urge to swipe someones candy bar is and not doing it. I think we are all born with a sin nature and this is one of those temptations that needs to be overcome. Unfortunately some people choose to lash out at those struggling with this particular sin and call them names which in turn ostracizes them and causes them to just dismiss the idea of a loving God as His followers are so far from that love. I think that each homosexual needs the love we have as much as every other sinner, of which not one of us is innocent. Unfortunately some have decided to pick and choose which one makes them better then the offender and have therefore taken it upon themselves to treat those struggling with it like garbage. I wish it were not the case.

Then I have 2 homosexual friends, who are males, that went and married women. And I often wonder if they are for real. The Bible also tells us not to judge another. Now I know this does not mean to not be discerning but I see so many around here flinging names like pervert, sodomite, sicko, etc. and I don't at all think that is what Jesus would have us do. And if anyone thinks they will reach anyone with such "loving" tactics, they are dead wrong. I wonder who will feel the anger of God more. The one who is in sin and did not accept Jesus because His followers were such hateful people or the person who drove the sinner away from the grace that was being offered.

There are a lot of things that the Bible says is wrong that people do every day that Christians don't hate on people about nearly as much as they do homosexuality. Why do so many Christians choose this one sin, out of so many, and say that it's somehow more wrong than other sins? Why is it so much more wrong than any number of other sins?

There is a homosexual agenda to get special rights to those that are gay. The same agenda is attempting to overturn many of America's rights and freedoms that have existed for over 200 years. The sin of homosexuality is now being shoved down all American's throats, and they are frankly sick of it. Where are theifs pushing for a special agenda to make their lifesyle ok with society? Where are murderers trying to have their sin gain them special rights in society?

I remember when I came out of the closet. I opened the door, stepped out and a tall, pink wearing, fur coated, limp wristed liberal handed me a booklet saying:
"Welcome out of the closet, here's YOUR copy of the homosexual agenda"

I am now thoroughly educated in how to defile everything sacred, how to wage an effective war on the family (depsite the fact that I CAME FROM ONE) and how to tear at the very fabric of society (remember us gays are very good with fabrics) unitl it all unravels and we are left with nothing more than a depraved sinful mess.

Well, we split from the UCC over this gay marriage issue. Our church is no longer UCC. Actually, it was the straw that broke the camel's back given that we believed there was a departure from the biblical faith on a number of things in recent years.

The whole situation is sad. Regardless, I believe that scripture clearly teaches homosexuality is wrong, and I have yet to hear anyone support it by scripture other than a contorted form such as scripture dealing with inclusiveness of all sinners regarding God's forgiveness.

What most people want to hear Jesus say (as to the woman), "Neither do I condemn you!" and then stop there and do whatever they want. What people do not want to hear is that part where Jesus then said, "Go and sin no more."
