Will God ever get credited for creating the universe? Or, does all the credit go to the evolutionists?

As far as I'm aware, evolution has nothing to do with the creation of the universe. And many "evolutionists" do indeed accredit God with the creation of the universe.

No "evolutionist" has ever claimed that they had created the universe themselves.

The wording of your post implies that Christians who hold to theistic evolution are somehow taking something away from God, this is false.

Yep. Evolution has nothing to do with the way the universe was started. And it's been that way from the start. Darwin, in his book, attributed it to God.

if we're talking big bang vs God, then there is no V, cause the science explains the how and the Bible explains the what. So they could both be right. I definately give God credit for creating the universe, but the Bible doesn't say how he did it - he could have created the big bang? Who knows?

God said "let there be" and there was. I take that meaning He spoke things into existence. If He did it by other means we simply do not know. As good as science can sometimes be, it is not always right. Maybe we are all wrong and God is up in heaven laughing: "haha, they think they are so smart , they are all far far off". :lol

I believe that he said "let there be" and there was, it's just the matter of was there a BANG and then was? Again, we can't know for sure, and I'm not stressing over it.

Couldn't agree with you more. It's only a theory, anyway, it hasn't been proved yet.

Definately could be a possibility, I mean, we're all humans, right?

Does God care if we believe in creation or evolution?

Does God care if we believe in creation or evolution?

Re: Does God care if we believe in creation or evolution?

I think God cares more about what we do with Jesus.

:)

Do you think God cares?

Re: Does God care if we believe in creation or evolution?

No, He does not care. The creation/evolution argument is irrelevant to our faith in Christ.

The thought has definitely crossed my mind more than once. :lol
