And trust me, I can't stress that enough. For it is the first day of the month of May, and it's like summertime weather here in the good old Buckeye state. Eighty degrees the last time I checked on the thermometer and so I'm sitting outside on my front porch drinking a Dr. Pepper. I just came back from a bike ride and pretty soon I will be putting away my winter clothes for good and digging out the shorts away bathing suits and I really can't wait! I don't think that summer could come here soon enough to tell you the truth. Next month I will be vacationing at a ranch with my family in Maryland. Don't worry though, although I know for a fact that I will be busy riding horses, swimming in the lake, and making Smores around the campfire, I will also have some downtime to read my Bible and I will even have WiFi to let you know how my trip is going. I also have plans to visit some museums in Washington D.C as well as viewing the white house and maybe even visiting a nearby amusement park. As soon as the staff gets back with me on my posting images issues, I might even post pictures as long as they don't have our faces in it. And to think I woke up this morning thinking I would have another rough day like yesterday. Well God is good, the day is fresh, and I can finally rest in the assurance that I am strong in my faith and sanctified! :cross:woot:thumbsup
 
Well I just came back from another bike ride and I just found out that it's supposed to be another beautiful day tomorrow. Thursday is the day that it's supposed to start raining. I just hope it won't be raining that bad since that's the day I visit my fiancee (he's in prison for those on here who don't already know that) and I don't want to look like a drenched sewer rat when I see him and besides that, I want my mom to be able to see since she's driving me and his mother there.
 
It's a beautiful day in PA. Doors opened and loving the fresh breeze. Going camping this weekend and riding the four-wheelers. Beginning of many trails to discover this summer, WOOHOO!!! Hopefully we can sell our camp and buy a smaller camper and travel around PA this summer. Time to discover our own state, LOL.

Right now I wish we really knew each other more than ever. You have four-wheelers and you get to go camping. I haven't been camping since my Girl Scout days and that was ages ago! I still remember the Girl Scout promise. "On my honor, I will try to serve God and my country, to help people at all times and to live by the Girl Scout law."

Me too. Except for the fact that my idea of praise is probably a lot different than yours. I can't imagine you banging your head to Jesus Freak LOL! And yes in that song it's a positive thing. :)
 
The last 2 days here have been cold and windy. Now it's raining again, but then I do live in Manchester. Good news is that it's supposed to be a lovely weekend.

Thanks! I was just going to send you a PM that this thread existed lol :eek2And I don't live there anything (for safety purposes I prefer not to disclose the name of my city) but they have a city with that name in Ohio. What a coincidence! Lol

By the way, for everybody who doesn't already know this I have to say that first of all the image button is now functioning again so I will try to post some pictures of my trip. I just feel uncomfortable with posting any pictures of me and my family due to the fact that my identity or their identities could be stolen so it's for our own protection. Second of all sorry it took me so long to respond Tessie but I went out for a walk. Between riding my bike, walking, and sitting outside, I spent most of the day out there because I figured that I might as well enjoy the nice beautiful weather while I can. :) Anyway, that makes me think of this song;







And talking about the country made me think of these songs; (same song actually but the second one is actually a rather good cover of it )








 
Well I'm having another good day so far. I got brownies baking in the oven and I went out for a bike ride and that's really rather good because it looks like we might be getting some unexpected rain showers pretty soon which I actually wasn't expecting until tomorrow. Oh well, this song came into my mind yesterday when I started this topic so I figured that I would post it. I'm not sure if Tessa will know this man since I don't think they show him on television in the U.K, but I'm almost one hundred percent certain that the rest of you will. :)







And this is another favorite of mine, I love the lyrics in it. :biggrin I might be anxious about going to Heaven, but every day that God gives me (even the bad ones) I'm really thankful that I'm alive.

Yeah I believe that life is a precious gift from God and so we definitely don't want to waste it. And Fred Rogers was a Presbyterian minister and he was so kind to people everywhere and it is for that very reason I believe that he went off to be a part of Heaven's neighborhood. :halo This is another one of my favorite moments from the show. He had such a big heart. :)
