Deut. 4:12-13
[12] And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
[13] And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

Yet, what does one hear today?? 'It was all finished at the cross'.

--Elijah

Well, for the end of time message we must put Johns message up again!

1 John 2:3-8

[3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, [[is a liar, and the truth is not in him]].

[5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

[6] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
[7] Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

But then we see John telling ALL why it is New! Yet, we HEAR CONSTANTLY that it was ALL FINISHED AT THE CROSS! That is a Very false last day message!

This law was never finished, but the Holy Spirit was sent back by Christ to have in placed into the believers MIND + HEART in full worldwide omnipresence to any who hear His Voice!

--Elijah

Honestly, why is this so hard to accept?
Jhn 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Amen our God is the only God all the earth is His

Exo_19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. Psalm 115:16

JLB

That Psalm was written long before Jesus' statement. Don't you agree that there are earthly consequences to Jesus' work?

So, what did Jesus mean (and why is it recorded for us to read) when He said, "It is finished"?

My answer to my question: Jesus' act on the cross changed everything. Just look at how God interacted with men before Christ, and look at how Jesus spoke to people, and instructed us in God's ways. Gone is the wrath from heaven. Closer is our relationship with Him now.

He told us that the greatest commandment was to love God and one another.

Things really changed that day. The entire world even divides time based on the approximate date of His birth.

The old testament is still important - but we live under a new covenant. If we don't live under a new covenant, I better go out and buy me a sheep to sacrifice.

Amen!!

To love one another fulfills all the law.

[ Love Fulfills the Law ] Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

KJV
Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Well Christ God made NO mistakes in execution of known 'unrepentant' sinners. He was his own theocracy. Think of Adam & Eve's son Cain? He even was given another chance! And the 120 years of the STRIVING Of the Holy Spirit as seen in Gen. 6:3?? (and the Rev. 17:1-5 have been teaching error much longer that 120 years!)

Look for yourself at this site, who agrees on any thing other than Rome's replacement of the Lords 7th day Sabbath??? This is surely a SIGN that the end is about over!

Well that is not what Christ told the TEMPTING 'lawyer'! Matt. 22:35-36

[35] Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
[36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind..

[38] This is the [[first and great commandment]].

That means that all error needs to be tossed out! Jude 3
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

The seventh day sabbath has not been replaced, it has been eclipsed by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Resurrection is greater than rest, so we celebrate this on the first day of a new week instead of observing token inactivity the last day of the old week.

You did not read well! It says... 'and after!' But like the rest of 'us', whatever?

Oh I read quite well thank you very much... it seems you don't however if you are citing rainfall amounts as a "Sign" of anything (other than getting wet)

Well see if this older post helps?

Eccl. 1

[9] The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; [[[[SAY’S INSPIRATION HERE!]]]] and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is [[no new thing under the sun]].

(OK: Test your faith that you profess to have! Sure Lord, the Rev. 17:1-5 ones believe you in Gen. 3:3, but just ‘teach’ that you ‘fudged’ some! (LIED!) and that satan can be believed by us in verse 4. SICK!)

[10] Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? [[it hath been already of old time, which was before us.]]

+ Eccl. 3 (AGAIN INSPIRATION DOCUMENTS ‘TWICE + !!)

[14] I know that, whatsoever God doeth, (or sayeth!) it shall be for ever: [nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it], that men should fear before him.

(even note Rev. last two verses of WARNING!)

[15] That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

And because there are so very few times that there is not a repeat, God documents that so as we can understand that there are these few times that do occur, such as the rainbow in the sky with no more world flood + Hosea 4:6, with sin never to arise the ‘second time’!

And 'if' one really BELIEVED God above,
they could toss out all kinds of their false doctrines.
So yes, we see repeats all through the Bible, even down to the spiritual re/crucifixion of Christ! Heb. 6:6.

And even in Gen. 41 One finds exactly the how & when God teaches Truth. It matter not the subject for God does not change & gives His Eternal Word! Mal. 3:6 + Christ’s N.T. documentation of Heb. 13:8-9 Truth + Warning!

[32] And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; [[[it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass]]].

--Elijah

What does that have to do with Rainfall being a sign of anything?
I mean, the fancy font size and color changes you employ are very exciting and stimulating to the eye, but don't convey much information about rainfall being a sign of anything...

MODERATOR NOTICE

2.4: No Trolling. Do not make an inflammatory remark just to get a response. Address issues not personalities. Respect where people are in their spiritual walk, and respect all others in general. Respect where others are in their spiritual walk, do not disrupt the flow of discussion or act in a way that affects others negatively including when debating doctrinal issues, in the defense of the Christian faith, and in offering unwelcome spiritual advice.

Not necessarily directed at the last poster.

We see Israel rejected in Matt. 23:38 (include John 12:42-43) And the NO new thing applies to who else? Matt. 23:2-3 Surely one can see histories required repeat there? Along with ALL of these in Rev. 17:1-5 ones with their plural of messages! And the only way to escape is Rev. 18:4

And what did Christ mean in John 10:16 ?? Surely He must bring 'some' out of those false folds, and the point is, seeing that He is not leading them, who is?? Or why are they called out if He is still there????

--Elijah

Here is a last day repeat clearly seen from an old posting... lets see if any of you can understand it? --Elijah
-------------

Matt. 24 is the WORD OF CHRIST GOD. We read several questions asked & then answered by Christ. See if these are hard to understand? First we see..

[1] And Jesus went out, and departed [from the temple]: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

[I had only posted up some few things of year 2011 from the News that are said to be.. ‘12 billion-dollar weather disasters’. (you go back to re/read it?) in between Matt. 24 I had not commented on,
if there was any interest, I would do so.]

[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (this verse is where I stopped
but Christ continues on. And the sign of His coming + the end of the world finds drastic changes, not only in Great Tribulation escalating right up to His Second Coming as He stated.. no, or ever shall be.’ But

lets read on & see if this is what takes place??)

[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
(never had I ever thought that people could be drawn in by believing the false preteriost doctrine, and yet we find it coming in all over the place. One person on another site says that he is Christ! The kingdom
is inside of him.)

[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[25] Behold, I have told you before.

_____________
(we now need this passage seen in 2 Thess. 2 to find that indeed satan’s men will work real miracles! Just suppose that you are who you are, and need ‘healing’, would the elect of Christ/God go to these one while
knowing that they teach anti/Christ stuff? So as I see it, this will be next on the CLOSING scene!)

[9] Even him, whose coming is [[[after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders]]],
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
_____________

(now back to the verse following Matt. 24:21 on)

[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
[27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; [[so shall also the coming of the Son of man be]].

[28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

(and this is the Inspired WORD of Christ!
