Well....if I'm going to dream I might as well dream BIG! :wave
Then maybe you'll want to come to Truman Dam in Missouri, on the Osage River. SCUBA divers swear they've seen catfish just immediately below the dam big enough to swallow a man. Might make for an interesting struggle, fish and fisherman. Unless one of 'em managed to drag you out of the boat! :shocked!

Yeah, I know ... that's not a catfish.

Unless one of 'em managed to drag you out of the boat!

Or gnaw on your boat until it's half sunk and then slip in to gnaw on you.

That movie scene had me traumatised for weeks. lol

Yes, that was one trilogy they could have done better as a single. And did. Until someone got the bright idea to make two more.

Yet another victim of the "Hey, the original made a ton of money so lets milk that for all it's worth, but don't hire any writers that could put together a compelling story" mentality that, unfortunately, did not die in the 80's.

I took this shot with my little camera. Was standing on the back porch at a friend's house. The lake? Lake Taps. The mountain? Mt. Rainier.

This is just part of the majesty of view seen in the Great Pacific Northwest where I live. And yes, if you look closely, those are ducks in the bottom right foreground. Picture was taken in the Springtime, my favorite time of year.

Really? Awesome! What's the reso of your cam? Did you modify it using computer sf?

It's an old Olympus D-460 Zoom. Nothing special, point-n-shoot type and no edit or enhancement. I like my film based Minolta X-9 much better but this was just what I call a "happy shot". I thought about the "rule of 1/3rds" when I framed it and then the ducks swam into the frame. Click!
