Hello everyone. I thought I would start this thread to see your responses in what God has called you to do or if you really dont even know yet. I have three questions and they are..

Who are you?
What is your calling?
How are you going to do that?

As for me, I am a Christian, who is saved by God and bought with his blood. My calling, well I am still not quite sure on that one for the long term, but for my short term goals, I am trying my best to work out everything to the best I know how to with my Job and Church. I am trying to be a more productive member, helping the church when it needs help in any areas and basically doing the best that I can. I try to be a light to those who surround me everyday and possibly witness to them if the opportunity arises. As for how I am going to get there, for me it is taking one day at a time since I dont know my long term goals. What about you?

I am a wife and mother but firstly a daughter of the Most High. My calling is to be the faithful meek quiet gentle loving wife of a godly holy shepard and pastor of Gods flock in the tribulation.

This is not yet by manifestation, The Lord has called my husband and told him that he is to be a shepard of the flock and a fisher of men in the soon coming tribulation so we are walking in faith towards that. As His wife my calling is to be a godly holy woman which insists the faithful meek quiet gentle and loving parts of which i am in need of much refinement still but I believe that God is going to preform the work He has began in me. This will be very important because pastors must rule their homes well and they and their families set an example to the flock, especially a wife who is the manifest example of submission.

I am going to do this firstly by faith in God, that He is in control, that He is able and willing, that His will is done and none can resist His will. That what He has promised He is willing and able to preform. Also by taking up my cross daily and keeping my flesh under the water, buried with Christ so it can be HE who lives in me.- Fighting the good fight of faith and not laying down my weapons. Casting down all imaginations that exalt themselves above Christ and all His word and promises. Having a firm expectation of the good word and promises that He has given us. Running the race without stopping and desireing aways His will and pleasure in my life, body, husband and family unto death but only by His preservation! :amen

hi John, throughout my life i've had different callings, always sharing the gospel, right now, the Lord has opened up a door for me to volunteer with local women shelters, i make bags for them and companies provide beauty products, i stuff the bags and give them to the women. i never thought i would be doing anything like this as i am not a craftsy person, yet it seems the Lord plans things we least expect. even something as simple as what He has me doing right now, will likely open even more doors.

my job is another opportunity to share the Lord through ministering to other women, helping them where i can and being available to them.

Who Are You?

Most know me as Danielle...but more or less, I am just another lost sheep who needs to know her Lord.

What is your calling?

In the past, I had a lot of uncertainty about this. Often asked myself why I walked this earth, and just what it was I was supposed to do. Turns out....my waiting, inquiring, and all paid off. I am working on first becoming a teacher, then hopefully will work my way into the church and begin to share in ministry as a Sunday School teacher. My heart has always been with the young, so too is most my joy. God gave me a gift with children, it is one I should use.

How are you going to do that?

First and foremost, do something I always have trouble with at times....trust in the Lord. Otherwise work on furthering my education both spiritually and otherwise. A teacher has to be one that is not only willing to teach, but eager to learn as well.

- I am a Christ follower although the past few weeks I am struggling a bit with my faith. As a new Christian I am finding ways to get through these periods but have done so successfully so far.

- Not sure what God has called me to do just yet. I have had some early indications that God wants me to become a leader spiritually within a community of believers although I am unclear as to the scope and other details.

- I need to find ways to release myself to God's will. Easier said than done especially considering the struggles I sometimes have squaring the way I formerly lived and believed to God's Word coupled with some resistant from the Mrs.

I am confident I will find my way and I am convinced I am struggling with many things personally right now to help me find the path I need to travel. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.

My husband and I got our calling a little over a year ago. It was to teach people about the herbs, minerals fruits and vegetables on this earth. He told us to open a store and focus on educating our customers. That is what we did. Not even 2 days later we found our location that was half the price of anywhere else and didn't need any construction. Just cleaned and moved in for our store. He also has called us to prison and travel ministry. We minister and help the prisoners and people that go to jail keep up their house payments or car payments so they have something when they get out. It is mostly for those that have short term sentences less than a year (part of travel ministry). The other part was to do conferences at churches and conventions that we would be teaching what God has put here is here to heal us. There are several people killing themselves and letting man dictate their health instead of using what God has put here on Earth for us to use. We have started walking in our calling and love it. We have seen so many blessings come into our lives that it has been amazing.

I am Samuel, I am a Year 12 Post-Graduate as of a couple months ago.

My long term calling has been revealed to be a focus on the pacific isles, I'm somehow supposed to bring new life to them. I interpret this as evangelistic work but in all honesty I don't exactly know what it means.

Well I'm giving God everything I've Got, getting involved in as much teaching, learning and helping as possible to grow myself and remain open to the prompting of the spirit.

I'm Benjamin, I'm 18, and am starting college in 12 days here at a local tech college, then transferring out of state to North Central University for a Worship Arts program to be a Music Pastor.

The calling that I feel God has placed on my life is to serve Him through composing music and spreading it as far and wide as I can, to spread the message of His love to those who do not know Him as Lord.
My mission is to ultimately raise up the teenage generation with a righteous anger to turn the world upside-down for the glory of Jesus Christ.
