Who are your favorite famous Christian apologists? Who would you nominate as the best Christian apologists you have watched / listened to?

Greg Koukl
Oh yeah, Greg is great in his areas of expertise. His book, Relativism: feet planted in thin air, is a great resource for understanding moral/ethical relativism and how to respond to it. Here is a great vid based on the book:

Frank Turek and William Craig are also great apologists. There is currently no one that I know of on par with Craig in terms of debating scientists. Praying the Lord will raise up worthy successors to these men a faith.

All the ones mentioned so far are my favorites in respect to their fields of excellence. They all have their own areas of strength in terms of knowledge, material and presentation.

"Watched" or "listened to" assumes that everyone's favorite apologist is living.
My favorites are from the first centuries of the Church.

Not quite an apologist, but I enjoy John Polkinghorne for the quantum physics angle. David Bentley Hart is another personal favorite, though I wish he were a bit more gracious.

Also increasingly intrigued by Alvin Plantinga, and planning on taking a look at Edward Feser's defense of Aquinas.

As an apologist myself, I have to say that my favorite apologists at this time are:

-Dr. Thomas Kindell
-Mike Riddle
-Phil Fernandes
-Dr. J.D Mitchell

never heard of any of these.

Thomas Kindell runs the Reasons for Faith ministry, which you can check out here: http://kindell.nwcreation.net/index.htm

Mike Riddle runs the Creation Training Initiative ministry, which you can check out his YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/creationtraining/videos?disable_polymer=1

Phil Fernandes is the president of the Institute for Biblical Defense, and his main specialties are defending the historical Jesus and talking about the UFO phenomena. You can find him all over YouTube.

Dr. J.D Mitchell runs both Creation Engineering Concepts and the Institute for Creation Science, the latter ministry I filmed presentations for almost two years for. After seeing a number of his presentations and reading his books, I've come to have a lot of respect for him. You can check out his website here: http://www.creationengineeringconcepts.org/ics/

I hope that's enough information about them.
