Your favorite jewelry? what is it?

I usually wear jewelry whenever I go out. I typically wear earrings and a necklace or bracelet. For Christmas I received two beautiful pairs of silver dangle earrings, one that is round and kinda swirly like a peppermint and the other kinda like a Celtic knot. I also have a lot of handmade necklaces and bracelets since my family really enjoys designing and creating jewelry.

Rachel: Sounds like you and your family have a real flair and interest in jewelry, then. Yes, Christmas seems to be a time when jewelers do a great trade, too!

Celtic has gotten real popular as a design type. I guess you can wear the earring pairs alternately, or maybe, if you have enough holes, at the same time (though often even with double piercings the second set would be worn with studs, I guess).

I'm not fond of wearing jewelry but I do miss my wedding band. It's the only jewelry I've ever worn. I don't consider watches jewelry but I don't wear one anyhow.

E: Why not wear it anyway? you were the faithful, right?

I don't wear earrings any more. I've gotten used to not wearing them.

But I imagine for a woman there can be a sense of feeling one's earlobes being rather bare if rings or studs are not put in (in at least one pair of holes, that is) before going out.

90% of the time all I wear a silver claddagh ring with a sapphire heart and a pair of stud earings.

I think my all time favorite necklace though (for when I do wear more) is a 1" or so tall green stone cat with silver wire butterfly wings, worn on a silver chain (a fairly heafty one as that charm is heavy)

So do you really prefer single ear studs? or did you ever go with doubles? which seems to be a big trend, anyway.

Actually, Ive had many piercings. Labret, Monroe, eyebrow, nose, ears.

(Thought maybe I should reply here; because maybe we were just getting a bit off topic on the other thread.)

Well, this is nice and cool, Angel, anyway.

Anyway, the piercing of ears often proves to be a lifelong thing, for wearing earrings.

For some other piercings, seems like the person sometimes goes through phase when s/he wants to wear studs in labret, eyebrow, etc., but then after some months or years stops wearing them. (Other people seem to continue wearing them all the time, of course, don't they.)

It's kind of nice, but very much an individual thing, anyway.

Huh. I guess I missed replying to this back in January. I was the faithful. I'm pretty sure she was faithful until after she left but it's moot now that we're divorced.
I wore it for awhile, but it actually seemed to attract women, whereas if I don't wear it, I get less attention. I got rid of it anyway now.
