Or I guess "God's miracles FOR you."

Anyway, what are they, and what do you think the point is/was? To inspire belief, deepen faith, simply to save you out of love, or just...because?

One time last year I was going through some stuff and someone, someone I had met but didn't really know, sent me a note saying they felt like they needed to talk to me for some reason, like God wanted them to, though they had no idea why.
What was going on was, or felt, complicated and I remember I was almost angry at God, beginning to feel like He didn't care. I suppose that God was reminding me through that person that He does care. In any case, that touched me. My attitude changed after that.

Cool topic. My favorite miracle was God giving me clarity of thought when I was very mentally ill to go home and get help. I have also been getting support from people online and my church group to deal with my illness. I really think it was God making a point to me that he loved me. Like the prodigal son coming back to his father I feel very loved.

On one level (I guess this might actually count as an angellic encounter) there was a time when I was driving down the freeway near my home town and wanted to change lanes. Well, something prevented me from doing so, actually prevented my car from going into the next lane. I looked over my shoulder and noticed there was a semi right there in my blind spot. Had I actually been able to move into that lane who knows how bad the accident could have been.

On another level, I consider all my kids miracles, and the purpose for them is to constantly teach me patience and humility.

Thanks for the replies. This is moving kinda slowly (I was hoping for more responses by now, lol), so I'll post mine. 1) overcame involuntary electroshock-induced brain damage 2) became a man, against all odds; 3)got the modern day equivalent of temporary insanity for a violent misdemeanor; 4) reversed premature aging and ill health; 5) stood up for myself and earned some respect in the community.

Lots of miracles for a 28 year old. I asked myself why I got all these, especially since I'm just living on disability and figuring things out. My miracles were necessary for me to even begin to contribute to The Kingdom of God. Without them--without the physical health, restored+transformed mind, clean criminal record--I'd still be the ultimate pariah in this area (and society at large) and I'd just existing, not living, and certainly not living for The Lord (which, even with all the miracles, is pretty difficult for me).
