Letting my horse jump sideways out from under me three times. Witnessed by four hunters, one who was a horse breeder. :helmet

:thinking:thinking:thinkingoh, great, now I have a headache from thinking to much. What was the :? again!!! Oh ya, I don't remember :chin, been to long and an ole dog like me doesn't embarrass easily

I was in the sixth grade pep squad and I was late getting back to the bleachers from our break so I ran and just as I went through the gymnasium doors one of the boys who bullied me the most stuck out his leg and tripped me and I fell hard with a loud "Boom" on the gym floor .The place was packed with people and everyone turned (including the basketball players) and looked at me .I spent the rest of the game in the bathroom .

I remember...uh, but I better not post it on here. Kids and stuff. Let's just say it was mighty embarrassing.

:blush

Hehehe. At work. Budding office romance. Email that looked really bad when taken out of context sent to the wrong person by mistake. Enough said. Major embarrassment and instant end to romance. :cries

Oh brother! It's good that you can laugh about it now. I can imagine. i sent a text message to the wrong girl once, and it was...bad. It's funny now but was very bad then. It wasn't even all that bad, i don't write stuff on texts or emails that I wouldn't be able to live down if it were published to the world, but women are very perceptive about subtleties and it gave a girl the wrong idea about me that I didn't want her to have. She thought I was expressing more than interest in her.
Wrong girl, wrong girl!. She already liked me and and I had her comfortably in a position of friends and nothing more. Until then. I didn't want to hurt her emotionally by rejecting her at that point because she was a good person and had a tender heart. So it took a bit of time to fix things. I'm pretty sure it still hurt her in the long run though.

:cries Not embarrassing. Just...bad.

:lol2 Or "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing"! :hysterical

Yeah it's the smart guys that do that kind of stuff. I watched a colleague of mine smoke a new computer control board and I had just told him to double check the wiring against the schematic. Sometimes the new ones have small changes in them...Oh c'mon Ed I know what I'm doing, I don't need instructions...poof!! big cloud of smoke as soon as he put power to it. a 300 dollar board.
.Ego can be expensive at times, lol.

People got it mixed up. It's not the one lacking in knowledge that will reach for the instructions quickly...it's the smarter more knowledgeable & experienced technician that will. They know that changes are likely and that no one can remember everything.

Closed?! No no no no no. The Edward say it is open now. I didn't know how good I could hack, lol.

Uh, how embarrassing for the mods, lol. :hysterical
