Tomorrow is All Saints Day...the reason for "All Hallowed Eve" AKA Halloween.

It's the day that we are supposed to give thanks to God for the Spiritual fathers that we have.
And that can be anyone that has taught you. It's a "great cloud of witnesses" that God has provided. From the books you have read to the anthropologists, geologist, English teachers, and theologians. Of course it can also be parents or others who have pushed, pulled, cajoled, or blackmailed you into the Church.

God spent a lot of capital in human lives to get you to become a believer. Thanking Him for that is only proper.
 
Happy Halloween Michael74 and it's funny that you say that JohnDB, because tomorrow I will open up the Thanksgiving thread that will be all about telling each other what we're thankful for this year. :) Did you watch the Hocus Pocus clips yet by any chance? That is if you are even a fan of that film.

I haven't a clue about that show. I didn't watch the clips either. I was running all day. Now I'm really ready for a nap.

I'm not sure whether or not I would be brave enough to go and visit a haunted house actually. :lol It would all depend on whether or not the ghosts were friendly. Anyways, here's my final Halloween thing of the night and of the year on here. So we only got about five or six trick-or-treaters at our house tonight but we're really good friends with my neighbor who lives next-door so my mother suggested that I should go over to his house and she'd bet that he'd give me some candy anyways even though I was an adult.



So I did and since I had a mask on he didn't have a clue who I was. ROTFL!!! :hysterical It's probably because I'm short and people always think that I'm younger than I really am. I told my mom I probably could go around the neighborhood and pass for a child and everybody would just keep giving me candy. Don't worry though I didn't do it though, I've got plenty of candy around here already. :biggrin2

No kids,as I have no candy.

The brewery ,it has some navy person who haunts it,moves chairs. Walking outside that large concrete edifice to gather reads from the trailer park south and the demand meters for the brewery and water .I usually don't feel him outside .but oh the woman's club,that had a feel to it.103 year old building .a church ,library ,wig shop,historical society meeting place plus weddings. I will have to up load my recent photos of it.
 
The strongest has been the derelict house ,pass that yesterday,the one one cherry lane route,the marsh landing restaurant, e Nelson fells,office and where he paid his farmers, a bank,genreal store that issued tokens .pre 1900 edifice irc,very solid,haunted.I felt that one during the day when went into a certain room.
