Gary, if I'm understanding you correctly you response to my question is the rapture, is that correct?

To my understanding the rapture is a one time event (and I personally believe it's described for us in Rev 4:1), whereas we, the Wife of the Lamb, Rev 21:9 will be living in the New Jerusalem floating in space, it's home for us, so when we visit the earth, my question still stands, how we gonna get home?

Blessings

That part has always confused me a bit.Are we a resurrected Saints going to be on the New Earth or the New Jerusalem? Is the New Jerusalem take over as heaven?I believe we will be ruling the New Earth with Jesus.

I believe we will be able to visit the earth, but as the Wife of the Lamb our home will be in New Jerusalem with Him, our Husband and Paul taught a principle of husbands and wives not being separated but for only a short time, and I'm convinced that is the mind of our Husband, He wants to be with us constantly and we will want to be with Him constantly (isn't that the concept of love when it is fresh).

Now what is of the future is just speculation,so I won't debate this, but I believe what God told Abraham about his descendents, being as numerous as the sands on the sea shore and as numerous as the stars of heaven is a help to understanding this, the Jews are the descendents of the earth so they are promised to inherit land on the earth, but what they will receive during the Millennium will be burned up at the Great White Throne Judgement, so quite possible from these promises made to Abraham and his descendents the New Earth will be theirs and we, the saved Gentiles, which are as numerous as the stars of Heaven, the New Jerusalem will be our abode.

I don't understand what you mean when you say we will rule with Jesus on the New Earth, can you point me to the verse you are using for this?

Blessings,

Gene

1 Corinthians 15
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

God is a Spirit. Jesus is the image of His Father. Upon the resurrection we take on the image of Jesus. What the appearance of that image is, nobody knows. I'm only guessing, but I believe we'll be able to move around much like the Holy Spirit does.

Here's a verse regarding our physical appearance after the resurrection.

1 John 3
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

.

Our bodies will be ageless as well as even though it has not been revealed, when we leave this earth to go to heaven, we will be like the Lord. Seeing Him as He is. He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
