I agree. I also find superstrings and 10 dimensional theory to be perfectly compatible with Scripture; cool stuff!
(Wrapping your head around that is a fun mental exercise, too)

I find the conclusion that matter is an illusion to be illogical, and based on ego.
For the academic and scientific community to embrace the reality that matter, and even space and time is not the greatest reality but is instead dependent on something more fundamental, (what we know as Spirit) messes up their word view so much they forget how to think.

Give them a few decades to get grounded, I bet they'll eventually recover if given the time. The fact that "heaven is above earth" in no way means earth doesn't exist. For scientists to be this confused leaves the door open for the world to be deceived by lying signs and wonders, and they literally may not have the time to recover.

Yet another sign pointing to the Mercy door of the Ark closing. It is time to be inside the Ark of Salvation!

It's quite possible for matter to appear out of nothing. Physicists call them "virtual particles" and in some cases, they can persist.
In physics, a virtual particle is a transient fluctuation that exhibits some of the characteristics of an ordinary particle, but whose existence is limited by the uncertainty principle. The concept of virtual particles arises in perturbation theory of quantum field theory where interactions between ordinary particles are described in terms of exchanges of virtual particles. Any process involving virtual particles admits a schematic representation known as a Feynman diagram, in which virtual particles are represented by internal lines.[1][2]

Virtual particles do not necessarily carry the same mass as the corresponding real particle, although they always conserve energy and momentum. The longer the virtual particle exists, the closer its characteristics come to those of ordinary particles. They are important in the physics of many processes, including particle scattering and Casimir forces. In quantum field theory, even classical forces—such as the electromagnetic repulsion or attraction between two charges—can be thought of as due to the exchange of many virtual photons between the charges.

The term is somewhat loose and vaguely defined, in that it refers to the view that the world is made up of "real particles": it is not; rather, "real particles" are better understood to be excitations of the underlying quantum fields. Virtual particles are also excitations of the underlying fields, but are "temporary" in the sense that they appear in calculations of interactions, but never as asymptotic states or indices to the scattering matrix. The accuracy and use of virtual particles in calculations is firmly established, but as they cannot be detected in experiments, deciding how to precisely describe them is a topic of debate.

None of this matters to one's salvation, of course.

It's quite possible for matter to appear out of nothing.

Technically, out of vacuum existing within the space time continuum. There is no empirical data on what happens outside the universe we dwell in.

Virtual particles can appear out of vacuum near a black hole, one is pulled into the black hole. The other particle becomes a real particle. However, the black hole then loses mass equivalent to the real particle. Matter/energy is conserved in this equation. Eventually the black hole evaporates from this process, if it is not absorbing additional matter. There is nothing in the equations about new matter appearing in the universe. The total quantity of matter/energy in the universe remains constant.

There is no data at all in science relating to what existed before the big bang. None of the equations work back that far.

I've watched all this stuff before and found it very interesting. In the double slit experiment (redeaux) the got the same results and so tried to set up cameras to capture the process that takes place...and with cameras on it, it didnt act as expected. Its like it knew it was being observed.

Scientific American had an article back in...(June 1995?) That said basically the thing. That all signs and data point to our natural universe is but a shadow of a larger reality. In other words, we really probably do live in the matrix. A projected illusion. And they said when no one is looking at something...it isn't there. It only materializes and hardens up so to speak upon being observed. Or, about to be observed.

Take the table in front of you as an example. Is it real? Hard to the touch. Is it, more dense or more emptiness? They say it is really more empty than solid. Here's why. Think of an atom. Atoms are what stuff is made of. It is a nueculas with an electron orbiting around it...But it's microscopic ok. So if you considered the scale, and the distance between the nucleus and electron then the table actually is more emptiness than solidity. That's how I understood it at least.

I can wrap my mind around that and find it believable. Like scripture says, with God all things are possible.

I forget where, but I read somewhere that, our only true reality is our consciousness and the only substance we really have...is our thoughts.

Oh, it matters.

After enjoying the pun consider this;

In the beginning, _____ created the heavens and the earth—

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true _____, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Yep. Matter spontaneously appears out of the quantum vacuum. Hard for us to conceive, but God's creation is greater than our comprehension. None of this matters to one's salvation, of course.

Oh, it matters.

Nope. You can deny virtual particles or almost any other part of His creation, and your salvation won't be at risk. He doesn't care if you get that, or not.

Just remember, His creation is greater than your understanding. Let Him be God, and accept it as it is.

Yes. The physical universe is a special case, made just for us.

Virtual particles can appear out of vacuum near a black hole, one is pulled into the black hole. The other particle becomes a real particle. However, the black hole then loses mass equivalent to the real particle. Matter/energy is conserved in this equation.

Right. It appears the net energy of the universe works out to zero. Virtual particles exist only because they condense out as pairs, a particle and it's antiparticle, which normally annihilate each other.

Eventually the black hole evaporates from this process, if it is not absorbing additional matter. There is nothing in the equations about new matter appearing in the universe. The total quantity of matter/energy in the universe remains constant.

The appearance of virtual particles doesn't change the total quantity of matter and energy in the universe. For that matter, if the universe truly has a net energy of zero, then the appearance of the universe at creation didn't violate the rules, either. It's more subtle than we can understand.

There is no data at all in science relating to what existed before the big bang.

As C.S. Lewis has Aslan say, the witch knows the magic at creation, but she doesn't know the deep magic before the creation. Insightful guy, Lewis.

None of the equations work back that far.

Right.

He who counts every hair on the head, and knows about every swallow that dies, "doesn't care?"

He doesn't care whether or not you approve of the way it happens, or even if you know about it. It's not a salvation issue.

You might consider re-examining that conclusion.

He's pretty clear about what one must do to be saved. One's opinion of virtual particles is not one of the criteria.

Of course!

He still has been the driver behind human learning, just as we encourage our children to learn, and enjoy it when they do. That includes things unrelated to our eternal Salvation.

Cause me to walk in your truth and teach me, because you are the God of my salvation. I await you all day long.
Psalm 25:5 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Psalm 25:5&version=LEB

Therefore, putting aside the lie, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are members of one another.
Ephesians 4:25 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Ephesians 4:25&version=LEB

The truth is, a quantum vacuum is NOT nothing.

question 2:

God created the heavens and the earth out of __________

question 3:

__________ existed before God created it.

so we must be scientist do be saved and as such basically be all knowing. creation, we can study it forever and never fully able to understand it and that is what God intended.
