This describes every experimentally lost person without exception, and in this state believing the Gospel is impossible !

Until such a person hears the Gospel.

Then they can believe. If a person does not hear the Gospel they can not believe.

What amazes me is that this type of Calvinist's belief (not all are quite the same) thinks a man most be regenerated to receive the faith to be saved but they seem to have no problem with the Holy Spirit convicting the unbeliever that is not regenerated of sin. Confessing to say the least. They can be convict by the Holy Spirit for salvation faith.

The Preacher brings the Saved one the Good News of their Salvation ! Eph 1:13

God does not send a lost man the Good News of his Salvation, Duh !

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The true Gospel Paul preached was THE GOSPEL OF GRACE BY DIVINE ELECTION (Acts 20:24; Ephesians 2:8; Ephesians 1:3-11). THAT is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.

The only ones who can believe in a way that results in salvation are those of the election of grace (Romans 11:5) because God has given it to them (Philippians 1:29; John 3:27); everyone of them, whom God has chosen and predestined to an eternal inheritance, will become saved, for God has decreed it! (1 Peter 1:4).

A person is not born again with hearing the Gospel message.

A person must call on the Name of the Lord Jesus in order to be saved.

What would be the point of the Holy Spirit convicting the world of sin if it is not so that the sinner will recognize he is a sinner and turn to the Savior?

One must know they are a sinner first in order to realize they need a Savior.

When does the Holy Spirit do this?

In your line of thinking, they were going along in life doing worldly things after they were regenerated! I have read a preacher say that some are born regenerated, they just don't know it. So God keeps it a secret from them? And maybe they are out there in the world participating in all kinds of sin?

Oh wait a minute, your theology says that can't happen because a regenerated person is now under the control of God so they won't have habitual sin in their lives. Is that correct?
Because man does not have free will so he must do what a regenerated person does even if he doesn't know?

Being born again is not something we do; but what God does in all of His election of grace (Romans 11:5). That is what is meant by God giving them a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26); a new man!

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Isaiah 43:6-7 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Before God saves a person it is impossible that they will call on Him and seek Him in a way that is pleasing to God.

Romans 3:11-12 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Isaiah 64:6-7 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

The OTHER GOSPEL spoken of in Galatians 1:8-9 pertains to the gospel of works, that all of man's religions preach; that maintains that man, of Himself, can do something to get himself saved. The Gospel Paul preached was the Gospel of Grace by Divine Election (Ephesians 1:3-11); not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
