And since when does killing kids a valid means of self-defense?
That is a great question. You should pose it to the Christian Congolese soldiers. Or you can pose it to the Airman that dropped bombs on Iraqi villages.

these muslims would seem to disagree with your assement of murdering them. when i was there we didnt do that at all.

none of them would dare say what you just did about us all
What statement are you referring too? I hope it is not the fact that I stated that you don't view Muslims as regular, rational human beings, because I made that statement post deduction; it is not hyperbole.
sure some would say that we did them wrong but compared to what the taliban offered them or life before they like us much better.

Maybe some of them do like us better. But of course it's too late to ask the thousands of innocent people we killed.

thousands? really show the innocents that i killed. where and when, show me. i was in kunar provence and had 61 engagments

really? i do, i dont trust you!

i know them and take them at their word until i see a reason they would lie.

ah but that rights im the bad guy,

i didnt learn their greetings and still know them.

hmm when i told merullah that i was a grandpa and that age isnt bad , he as i know respected that and said having a set of grey hairs is a sign of wisdom.

again show me where we on order killed muslims that didnt attack us.

I WONT BACK OFF TILL YOU PROVIDE PROOF.

Yes i freely admit that there are millions of Christians that believe this.

You can't have it both ways.

Either Revelation 19:11 is a divinely inspired teaching of Jesus that was taken to the extreme or it is a corrupted text written by man, not inspired by God.

So, which one is it?

It's possible that you were deployed at the time and so you missed it.
The Iraqi invasion was on the six o clock news for all to see. We came in with huge tanks and dropped huge bombs and everyone sat in their living rooms eating pizza and watching.

Jasoncran I did not say that you killed anybody.

But if you search wikipedia for Afghanistan civilian casualties you will find that U.S soldiers (not Afghan insurgents) killed at least 6,215-9,007 innocent civilians directly and 9,415-29,007 indirectly.

And I'm sure the Afghan government will say that those numbers are at the very least.

and ignoring my idf arab officer, i guess he isnt a true muslim.

If you showed me a link to a gay "Muslim" beating his 9 month old baby it would not surprise me. There are crazy people everywhere.

And Muslims are people just like everybody else.

Jesus never taught violence; quite the opposite actually. Revelation 19 is speaking of the final war and judgment against against those who oppose God. Sure, some can and like do twist it to justify going to war, but that clearly is not what is being stated. Context, context, context.

That is the point that I made and the reason I posted the verse. Anybody can misinterpret a book in order to commit evil. Drummer4Christ asked for a verse that promotes violence in the Bible. And R19 is the verse I gave him. I personally don't interpret R19 to mean that it is just to wage war against non-Christians. My point is that it is possible to interpret this verse in an "extreme" way.

What do you mean? I thought I clarified it. "You" think that Revelation 19:11 is a divinely inspired teaching of Jesus that was taken to the extreme. And "I" " agree" to disagree.

You're treading on thin ice, Lance
All I did was post the entire section so the context remained. Slavery happened and it was used. You did post a section of the sermon on the mount. Where Jesus proclaims he is there to fulfill the law. Meaning Jesus is taking the place of the lamb. When you sin, jesus is the sacrifice instead of a lamb or goat or cow. Jesus then instructs in Matthew 23 when the adulterous is brought forward that if you are going to fallow the entire law, follow the law to the T or not at all. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matthew 23:23-28 I'm done with this anyway. This is why I stopped talking about religious matters. Some one is always ready to run in and yell context, even when the context is given. I'm sorry, but there is no context to enslave people permanently, treating them as property and killing entire villages women, children, elderly, and livestock. I'm done with this.

I mean that either Revelation 19:11 was divinely inspired or it wasn't.

Pick one.

That's exactly the point, and why more is expected from those like you who have claimed to have a Christian upbringing. The Law of God was fulfilled. There is no such context for eternal slavery.

Hebrews 8:8-13

8God finds fault with them when he says: "The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; 9not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they did not continue in my covenant, and so I had no concern for them, says the Lord. 10This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 11And they shall not teach one another or say to each other, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more." 13In speaking of "a new covenant," he has made the first one obsolete. And what is obsolete and growing old will soon disappear.
