Hmmm....the last time I check I was.....checking in Captain :salute Hey why are you rounding up all the females?:eek2

Well, the official reason is so we men can properly address the ladies on the board. Some screen names are gender neutral and if I were to say, thanks brother, or something of the sort, it would not be the appropriate way to address a sister. So that's the reason, yeah, that's it.

(rubbing hands together...bwahahahahahaa!)

You have noticed about 5% of the women have replied.Nice try.

oh there are emotional men. those types don't cry like that but they do feel the letter. after the woman on the left is reading a man's love letter to his wife.

Yeah. One year I didn't have money to buy my wife a birthday present, so I wrote her a love letter. it brought her to tears. She said it was the best thing i could have gotten her for her birthday. It's not hard, just takes a little effort. She talked about that for years to her friends, lol. (score!). Feed their romantic desires brothers, it's what drives them. :)

True enough. They do speak in code talk. Here's a partial listing of a code key, lol;

1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the football before helping around the house.

3. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

4. A Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer quickly to No 9 for the meaning of nothing.)

5. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

6. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot', which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' - that will bring on No. 7).

7. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying, "F-- YOU!"

8. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to No. 4.

9. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in "Fine".

Bingo!!!! A little romance is a good thing but.....it had to be genuine.

Im not suggesting a woman should be all knowing about a car or a mechanic if she doesn't want to do it. but she should have some idea of the basics of how a car works.
I have put oil in my car and basic things.Isn't that what a guy is for who is more knowledgable? Many women libers would frown at that.

I personally think a man should do it but given the reality of useless men and also single mothers and sadly mechanics whom would take you for granted, its best that they know at least:
1) change oil
2) change a tire (not mounting and dismounting one)
3) lights
4) brakes.

That is what AAA is for. They would change a tire.If I stay with a reputable company such as Toyota where I bought my car it should be ok.
