From what I understand the 69th week ended at the crucifixion or the time of the crucifixion. The 70th week will start at the beginning of the tribulation. The tribulation is 7years or the final week. The time between are the years of "grace" where there is non distinction between Jew and gentile.

Sorry my statement wasn't clear.
I group the events of His entrance to Jerusalem to the whole event of His crucifixion.
From His Triumphant entry to His Trial was, what, about 4 days?
In the terms of the thousands of years this earth has been around, I just stated that as the time...
In my opinion....
It all makes sense that the 69th week ended with Christ's crucifixion, Then the 70th and final week begins at the beginning of the tribulation.
Seems to me, Sparrowhawke, that most posters have stated their view and pretty much solid on where they stand.
Someday, in glory, we can sit down and laugh at the errors of our earthly beliefs.
In my opinion only
Respectfully, the rapture is not considered the first resurrection. There will be two resurrections, one prior to the millennium and one after.
The Holy Spirit is the Restrainer of Thessalonians. He will be removed in order for the lawlessness to be reveled. Christ...
Ahh, Biologos, Now everything is clear.
This cult is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I am not going to post all the facts and biblical evidence that this is a Satanic deviation of the account of creation and dilutes the awesome power of our God with lies and half truths.
If you want to take the...
Barbarian, can you give me the chapter and verse as to where Jesus states that God is a Spirit.
Also,
John 1 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and...
I believe that "make up new things that He must have done" is the evolutionists deed.
Creationists take the bible as it is written. We do this due to the fact that God is so awesomely powerful and there is no limits to what He can do. Therefore, I do not have to make things up. I believe it as...
Ok,
One at a time,

Exodus 31:18King James Version (KJV)
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Nuff said there I believe,

Of course Adam and Eve ate food...
Barbarian.....
I have a simple question for you...
Is there anything in the book of Genesis that, if taken totally literally, totally as the words state....would be impossible for our awesome, all powerful, all knowing, ever present, eternal to eternal God to do? Is their a detail that you...
Genesis 2:7 States that God formed man from the dust and breathed life into his nostrils and at this point he became a living being.
This means God purposely, with His own hands, formed Adam from the dust, in His image and breathed life into Adams nostrils HIMSELF.
This is another blatantly...
In a recent study, Tel Aviv University anthropologists determined that Lucy’s lower jaw bone is some kind of gorilla jaw bone. Other parts of the skeleton are just like the bones of knuckle-dragging, tree-climbing gorillas. Yet Lucy has been Evolutionism's poster child. Very creatively...
Lucy
This fossil, discovered in Africa in 1974, was widely esteemed by evolutionists and was the subject of some of the most intensive speculation. Recently however, it has been revealed that Lucy (A. afarensis) had an anatomy ideally suited to climbing trees and was no different from other...
The mother can be raptured and the infant, being younger than the age where it can be responsible for the eternal decision of following Christ, would be raptured too.
Every human is different. Some are accountable at a very young age. Some never reach an age of accountability..... learning...
I will back my brother here as I am a strong Pre-trib believer.
To answer your question of Why it is so important... Well if you are a mid trib believer, you know the tribulation is 7 years, you know that the antichrist will break the pact at the 3.5 year mark... so you would have three years...
I believe it is the body of Christ or the "church" that is raptured before the tribulation. All the dead in Christ will rise first, immediately followed by the living believers. The comforter will be removed from the earth before the tribulation too. Jesus states that He will never leave us. How...
