A While back a new user mentioned they were into poetry. I mention I had written some too, and they asked if I would post some. So here's one of my Poems. I know it's kind of elementry, but what do you guys think?

My Choice…

Free to live and follow a lead
Turn any direction you please
Looking for some way to judge your steps
And then have your life at ease

Then comes a powerful trial
Respond however you dare
As hurt and stress consume your strength
This trial just doesn’t seem fair

Your heart is now laden with strife
How will you choose to respond?
The Agony that pressures your mind,
Persists from dusk until dawn

The fight that is wagging within
Daily taking its toll
Has given you few moments of peace
And has you losing control

Then comes a glimmer of hope
And light from the Son shines true
Your heart sees the needed relief
You’ve only one thing you must do

You want now to reach out to Him
But some thing is holding you back
A voice is your mind is protesting and saying
Even with Him you will lack

People each day, fight this same battle
And one day you’ll fight it too
When that day comes the choice will be yours,
My friend, who will you choose?
 
Hey brutus, it's not elementary at all, I like it! The message really touches home and it's comforting. It covers an issue that you and all of us can relate to. You provide the conflict and a recommended answer, but you leave it up to the reader to decide. Great job, I'm sure your others are pretty cool as well.

Here's another one, as short as it is.

Life goes on...Even when you're still asleep...

Life is good...Even when you've been cut quite deep...

Life is a battle...Even if you choose not to fight...

Life isn't much of a life...Unless you're living in Christ
 
Wow, I like that! They say that dynamite comes in small packages, and this poem proved it. That was powerful! Thanks for sharing!
