Ephesians 6 commands us to put on the whole armor of God, but most importantly to take the shield of faith. Why?

A shield, by itself, can handle all your defense and can even be used as an offensive weapon. When everything else fails, keep trusting God, and you'll see that He'll pull you through.
 
Well said, Vince, for faith is everything! Those who truly have it realize it is fruit from the Holy Spirit, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of him who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11.6
