I can not talk my voice is hollow
The joy once heard has been shattered like glass
The eyes that I seek are not what I see
The words of help a far from me.

The fool of hatred has cut me like hair
And swept me off a once stable floor.
Life isn’t simple the dead must be heard
For the burden that’s on me wasn’t foretold

My teeth are rotting yet no ear can hear it
The fruits that I eat are sour not sweet
I gave of myself but never received
Know all hope has vanished
