I memorized Matthew 6:33 (along with a number of other verses) at a residential Christian place. I didn't get saved then (that took a --miracle--), but since then...the verse has popped up in my mind time and time again.

The Lord provides for His children. The specifics of how that plays out varies from person to person. Still, I think His work follows certain themes--restoration, reconciliation, forgivness, wholeness, etc.-- that are fairly consistent from person to person, place to place, generation to generation. I think Matthew 6:33 is basically telling us to get our eyes fixed on Christ+Him crucified, and everything else will be made to fall into place.
