Can Christians Attract the Devil With Their Actions

What a great question.
Think of it this way.....
before you are saved, you are not a child of God, u are John 8:44.
after you are saved, you are taken from that family by spiritual birth and have now become someone elses SON.....
And once that happens, u are on the Devil's radar because you have become his enemy... and he will try to...John 10:10 you the more you try to do for the Lord.
If you backslide, you are returning, in essence to your "other" father (pre-born again), and you will begin again to do his works until u repent and return to your spiritual new-birth Father.

Christians, or anyone else, can definitely allow Satan into their lives. As we're all imperfect, we are all tempted towards sinful endeavors, addictions, and thoughts. Some people do it very overtly (seances, indulging in drugs, etc.) whereas others do it very slightly in increments (lustful thoughts about a coworker, leading to flirting, leading to more)... Satan loves the downfall of mankind. Give him an opening, he'll more than likely try to take it.
Still, if it weren't for the Bible, I don't think I'd believe in Satan. Humanity very often doesn't need the help of a supernatural being to find its way to corruption...

I believe so. My story, shortened of course, is this:
When I was 21 I would have said, "Yes, I've been saved by Jesus and am a born again Christian!". I walked a pretty straight line for a while, following God's lead, and being a good follower of Christ. As time passed I slowly began to fall into sin. A couple years later I'm back doing drugs, lusting after every cute girl I see,watching porn, and just lost in sin all over. The only difference between then and before I would have said I was saved is I could hear/feel God all the time telling me I was sinning. Now, I'm not sure if I was truelly saved at the time. I never lost my belief and trust, I just ignored God and indulged in my own pleasures.
So, with that said I would say yes you can attract the Devil with your actions.

The Catholic Church apparently recognizes demonic possession and demonic oppression as possible outcomes (on the more severe end of the spectrum) of demonic influence in human behavior. I think Protestants generally hold that demons can mess with us (oppression, I think) but cannot do full on possession of born agains.
I didn't realize how intense satan and his minion's hatred for believers was until recently. A wise, older, Pentecostal friend of mine informed me that many of my problems were simply the devil messing with me because I've been saved only a brief while and recently moved back to my hometown.
I do think we can tempt fate, so to speak, by sins. That's how some of my recent troubles began--the sins of rage and wrath. The devil's underlings took the opportunity to try to ruin my life. God saved me. If I hadn't sinned, though, the situation wouldn't have happened at all.

It was a somewhat joking comment; implying I've seen enough evil desire in humans to question the need for any sort of supernatural advocate for said behaviors.

From what I've always been taught and from what I've read in the Bible and from what I've experienced, it boils down to this:
Satan will tempt you away from God's will and try to keep you from witnessing.
If you're in God's will and doing God's will, Satan will try to stop you. He may try to get God's permission to do things to you that he's hoping will take your faith away. He may distract you. He'll try to take away anything that gives God credit, such as your testimony.
Basically, since you're already saved, he'll try to keep you from leading others to God.
So, I guess the answer is yes.
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
~I Peter 5:8 KJV
My dad thinks you can also tempt the devil to interfere by taunting him, but IDK.

Yes, we can attract the devil with our actions. Just like non-Christians can attract the adversary. However, with Christians it is done to test our faith in our Lord and savior to deliver us from the devil. For over a decade, the Lord has used me as His tool in spiritual warfare, so I can speak my mind with honesty and openness.

Your heart is the territory for spiritual war. You can give the devil a foothold or a "beachead" by your actions, were he can work to take more territory. So yes.

I always thought the devil attracted Christians with his temptations.
That is exactly right! The devil separates us from God through temptation to sin.
Once separated we become easy pickings.
