Salvation:

• The eternal preservation of our entire being, spirit, soul, and body, from all enemies, including death.

Salvation is being saved from the righteous judgment of God, who will condemn sinners to eternal damnation.

In this life, we have salvation through faith in Christ, in which we have His Spirit within us, transforming us, and leading us to live a life of righteousness, expressing our faith by love.

We are joined to Christ, and are one Spirit with Him, in that we have the eternal life that is in Christ Jesus, within us, even though our physical body will die.

The exception is those who will be raptured, as they will be caught up with those who are resurrected from the dead.

This event occurs when He returns to gather His people, on the last Day.


And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28

This occurs at the coming, or appearing, or revelation of our Lord Jesus, when He gathers us together at the resurrection and rapture.

Jesus described it this way -

Let’s be those people who are counted worthy to attain that age and the resurrection from the dead, and are found to be persevering in the trials of this life, practicing righteousness and being led by the Spirit, when He comes on that glorious Day.

Eternal irrevocable salvation is something Jesus died to deliver to the world's faithful. I don't entertain any effort to argue to the contrary.
