Just an FYI for those of us here in America:
If you are someone who doesn't normally file for a income tax return, such as retirees, those on disability or low-wage earners, you should file this year in order to receive the 'economic stimulus' payment of up to $600 per individual or $1200 per couple and up to $300 for each dependent child.
If you are unsure if you qualify for the payment you can contact the IRS via phone or by this website: http://www.irs.gov/
You have until next Tuesday to file a return.

Hey, it's OUR money! I know that this is mainly an election year stunt, but I also know that I can more responsibly use the $1500 we are getting back better than Congress can.
