Head injury

Odd posting this in a section along w/professional sports, but it's health related.

Anyone ever get hit on the side of the head?

Doesn't seem like as much skull sheilding there- I've been hurting since it happened on Monday.

Any ideas on when it'll feel better?

A doctor or medication are out of the question due to finances. :

Where on the side of the head, and what hit you? Is it a contusion or bump or do you have symptoms of a concusion?

I highly advise you to call your counties social services and ask where the nearest "Free Clinic" is. You may wait in line for hours, but it could save your life.

Head injuries are a serious thing, and what may seem to be harmless.. could be deady. Just look at the boxer in Las Vegas who passed away the day after his fight due to an undetected head injury. Not meaning to scare you, just really suggest you go seek PROFESSIONAL medical advice.

If you start getting dizzy, blacking out, impaired vision, impaired hearing or any severe problems get your butt to the ER. Most likely you had a small concussion, but that can still cause a hematoma which could kill you.

If it is bad don't worry about Dr.'s or hospital bills. As long as you pay them $10 a month they can't touch you anyway. And then of course you don't die or become paralyzed.
