If God is perfect, and he created us, why aren't we perfect?

As human beings we are still bound under the curse of Adam. No matter how hard we try not to, we will still sin against God. The truth is, we were made perfect, but Adam's sin brought imperfection into our race and into the world. Perfection is only achieved when we are at the Father's side in heaven.

Heaven is paradise, but first we must learn to love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and love our neighbors as ourselves. The Lord could do it for us, but then he would be doing all the work and we'd be having all the fun. Give him a break: Carry your own weight. It is well worth the effort.
