Is it a sin to boogie woogie to secular music? Some believe it is. But what is Biblical?

David danced in joy of the lord, so I believe it's ok to dance.

Not every dance is OK though. If your dancing in an arousing style, that is a sin. As for the swing dances and the dances like that, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

"Is it a sin to boogie woogie to secular music?"

The fact that you're asking the question essentially is your ANSWER to it for right now.

The principle is Romans 14:

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

The SUBJECT of discussion here is the consumption of "more economical meat" available from pagan temples as a by-product of their pagan rituals which included "live offerings", the edible portions of which were marketed publically.

SOME folks had some REAL SUPERSTITIOUS HANG-UPS about eating meat offered to Idols - just like you apparently have a "hang-up"about "boogieing down" as a Christian.

It's obvious, then, that YOU CAN'T "do it in faith" - and Rom 14:23 is YOUR answer to THAT question.

It isn't necessarily MY answer to the same question, and you'd be in ERROR if you tried to bind others to having to do things YOUR way, or FEEL like you do about things. Romans 14 covers all that also.

I can probably do things "in Faith" that YOU can't - and Vicey/Versey. That's between YOU, and God.
