On Romans 3:21-22

Romans 3:21. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ (Jesus’ personal faith in the promise Father made to him) unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

It does not matter if you are fluent and expert in every language under the sun. Neither is it extremely important which version of the Bible you prefer. You want to understand the scriptures. How do you propose to REVERSE GOD in Isaiah 29:9-14 and Revelation 5:1-5? Saul of Tarsus was well versed in Greek and Aramaic and I am sure he understood Latin. What good did all his education and training by Gamaliel do him? He was a blind Pharisee until God chose to send him Jesus. I understand he can break the seals on the Word, read it, and understand it. Unless HE and the Father sup with you, you will be just like the Pharisees and Sadducees, who were so many "wanta be's".

Here is the RIGHT JUSTNESS of God exercised by Jesus Christ: Numbers 23:18-23 (despite what the Jews did to God and Moses in the wilderness). Here is Jesus exercising the same judicial principle: John 8:1-12.

Why is this called God's righteousness? Examine the Supreme Judge's verdict to Cain and here you need the New English Bible or New American Bible translations of Genesis 4:5-7. YOUR FATHER the Judge declared, "Sin is a demon....". Consistant with God's superior knowledge, we find both judges refusing to judge men or condemn them for the works slave-master devils foist upon humanity in spiritual Egypt, John 5:22, 8:15. Why should God think like an ignorant earthly man and blame men for sin, or charge him with legal infractions. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. Leave corrupt and incorrect judgment to devils and the churches!

As for The Supreme, look at His Mind in Isaiah 45:22-24, and 54:17. To see the "FAITH OF JESUS" in action, check Jesus out at Simon's dinner, Luke 7:41-50. Why don't Christians express THAT FAITH instead of berating and shaming men ensnared by the devil? This kind of action is exactly WHY JESUS WAS BORN and the very reason God had him to die (atonement), John 1:29, Isaiah 53:1-5. So Father applies the verdict He rendered in Cain's case "unto ALL" and also "upon believers" too making no difference between men as the preachers and churches do. Tell me, how many readers out there and quasi-Christians have THAT MIND of both God and Christ as YOUR THINKING. If your judgment ideas are different or opposing, you DO NOT have the mind of Christ when it comes to righteous judgment. It is time to stop talking superficially but to LIVE CHRIST realistically in ALL matters! What if I tell you Osama bin Laden has God' righteousness as a gift right now? Do you get mad at Jesus for taking away his sins 2000 years ago so that they cannot apply against him in the Heavenly Court? Perhaps you do not like the Father for being this WAY. Understand this dear reader I AM the WAY. Check Him out in Luke 15:15-32. The "elder son" preachers can protest and refuse to join the Father in this feast of LOVE for all humanity and ALL PRODIGAL SONS, but whose will is done on earth as it is in Heaven? Do you want to stick with a winner? Then adopt the mind of the Father-Son judicial team. You do not have to be a neo-Saul of Tarsus. "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye him"! How tall is Jesus? How many Christians do you suppose measure up to the fullness of the stature of Christ and have the capability to "put on the mind of Christ'? This is something to consider. Isn't it?

Do you think the story of the “prodigal son†ends with the elder son in the earthly field (Matt.13:38 ) arguing with his Father over the sins of his younger brother and refusing to celebrate the salvation of his brother and redemption from eternal death? Luke 15:15-32. Here is the rest of the story:

Matthew 6:14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:32. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33. Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34. And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. 35. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

The “tormentors†are the devils riding his body, Matthew 12:43-45. One man carried a legion of “tormentorsâ€Â, Luke 8:26-30.

Matthew 6:14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Hello, John. I agree with your post. It has some excellent points. I would like to ask if you feel this has an eternal element to it or do you feel that it is only a punishment that will last in this lifetime?

I’m not sure what the argument is here. You said:

If your judgment ideas are different or opposing, you DO NOT have the mind of Christ when it comes to righteous judgment.

It appears you are then suggesting that having “the mind of Christ when it comes to righteous judgment†subsists in essentially not having judgment. Have I misunderstood your post?

When our judgment agrees with the judgment of the Father and the Son, then we have "correct" judgment.

1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

John 17:20. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Those who AGREE with the judgment decisions of the Father and the Son are "ONE" with them. The "elder son" in the parable of the prodigal son had corrupt judgment because he resisted the Father's judgment and ARGUED AGAINST IT! Anger blinds the eye and the "elder son" was not aware that he was in VIOLATION of Matthew 6:13-14, and Matthew 18:32-35.

To have the mind of Christ, you must think like the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and you four will be one. Thanks.

How does a person evaluate whether or not his/her judgment agrees with the judgment of the Father and the Son?

This is the judgment of the Father

John 5: 22. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto
the Son:

2 Corinthians 5:18. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

This is the judgment of the Son

John 5:30. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 8:15. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

This is not the judgment of the Father or the Son. This is the judgment of men!

A. Burning men up with fire

Luke 9:52. And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55. But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

B. Condemning men "caught in the act" of sin

John 8:5. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

John 3:17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

C. Sins of the greatest sinners are forgiven ... so THEY will love God more than you!

Luke 7:36. And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. 37. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38. And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 39. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 40. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43. Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 44. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Pop quiz based upon C. Here are the two "servants" mentioned above:

Like 15:20. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. 25. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 26. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

Questions

1. Should Father stop being Himself because the "elder son" disagrees with His judgment?

2. Who loves the Father more, the "elder son" or the younger son?

3. Who is failing to honor the Father as required in the 5th Commandment?

4. Who is failing to follow Jesus, Matthew 6:14-15, Matthew 18:32-35, in this matter?

5. You know the judgment doctrines taught in the churches! Do you think the preachers are right, or do you expect the Father and the Son to be themselves ... and "change not"?

6. Does the following text apply to the judgment of men expressed by today's churches?

Matthew 11:25. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

John,

Perhaps my question would be better understood if I asked it in a more specific way. I don’t believe it is right to masturbate. How can I evaluate if my judgment on this matter agrees with the judgment of the Father and the Son?

I am glad you did not ask that question. I prefer not to deal with such matters. But I will say this, devils are adroit in putting porn scenes in our minds and then striking our sex nerves. This causes physical arousal and stress especially if you remember Jesus said, "If you look upon a woman and lust after her, you have committed adultery already in your heart"! Just be thankful that Father sent the Son to take away all sins, John 1:29. Devils get the blame for putting these things in our minds. But YOU are clean through the Words Jesus spoke 2000 years ago, John 15:3. If you masturbate, you will get relief from sexual pressure and the responsibility for the entire act goes on the heads of devils who cover our body, Matthew 12:43-45, Habakkuk 1:4. What a friend we have in Jesus is more than a song! Perhaps this will also help:

Romans 7:15. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
