[__ Prayer __] One of my employee's health

Having surgery next week for cancer of some sort. I'm really bummed. The prognosis is good and they expect him to recover but still it really stinks.

He is twice my age, yet I am his boss. He treats me with a lot of respect and has taught me a lot about life and our work and how to be a good man...a real class guy. He tells interesting stories about things he's done over the years and we have real philosophical debates about stuff (politics, religion, business, etc.)...just a real neat guy. He knows more than I ever will about life and what we do 40 hours a week but still asks me for advice--he should be telling me how to do things. We need more folks like him in our lives.

He doesn't attend church a lot but prays a bunch and definitely knows Jesus as his Lord and Savior--we've talked about that on various occasions over the years.

This really stinks--please pray for him--he's one of the good guys.

Lord, my pray for this saint, over and above his healing and restoration is that You ceed to him greatyer stamina and strength in his faith. That You would show him things that would convict as needed, awaken the love light in his heart, bolster his desire to serve, revitalize as needed in body and faith. Bless this saint indeed O wonderful and able God. I ask this in Jesus' name... amen
