Hi and welcome.
Nothing is free. It costs right at 1k a year to keep this site up. Some years a little more, some a little less. When you see members with “Supporter” by their name, you can thank them for helping to pay the costs required to keep this site going.

This being said, it cost nothing to join or participate and nobody is obligated to give.
