What keeps me going I often wonder
On this quest for such love
That I desire so badly
After all the petty crushes
Giving my heart away once already
And being devastated and scarred
Why would I dare still keep on?

The answer is because of you
I dont know your name
Nor even where you are in this world
But spending our lives together
Will make up for all the lost times
The tears in your eyes when I do is said
Will wash away all the heartaches
Your presence by my side forever
Will captivate my deepest fears

As time passes ill keep my head high
I know the years to come
Will bring hard times of doubt
But deep down inside I know
It will be well worth the wait
What assurance do I have you ask?
Its called trusting God's plan, fate
