I wrote this one as a challenge to myself after a real down time, God sometimes makes me do things like this to motivate me!
Hope that it will encourage anyone who does read it!

Ready

i am ready to face the world again
i am ready to stand on the edge again
to see how far You have brought me
i can barely see where i used to be
standing on this edge once again i give my all to you
breathing in the crisp air that fills my lungs
i am falling into You,
Your love has swallowed me whole
fear’s grip invades my peace
but i will give my heart though i might lose it
i will love with every particle of my being
trusting that You will catch it if it is flung out into the ashes
risking all i will live the life You have so preciously given and molded
standing on the edge of who i am
i will risk being brave
touching more than just its tip
discovering the very core of it
knowing that You believe in me
i will let You move me again
i will let You kiss my parched life with Your cool lips
loving You
dreaming larger than life
daring to be free
daring
risking
living
succeeding

It spoke to me of you meaning being refined in the fires by God also, unperishable like gold or silver but coming out the better person, as God wants you to be. And even if not (thrown away with the ashes) you still have hope there. Maybe I am wrong but this thought did occur to me especially when you speak of being molded also.

Standing on the edge to me means the brink of despair; yes, you have this but also such encouraging hope, to breathe in the fresh air, fill your lungs.. (God).
