Revelation 3:14-22
King James Version (KJV)
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Message to Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this:
15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,†and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’â€

14 We know Paul may have went to see the fellow believers of this city thru Col 4. It wa sonce known as the city of Zeus so, there would ahve been pegan worship there.
15 They don't have a heart divided between the Lord and the world. god would rather not have so, He could raw us or have us to serve Him being a dead Christian is very bad and is sin in the eyes of God.
16 God does not want worldy Christians we are not made for this world but one He will bring when He returns. Wordly Christians are uneffective and weaken witness of other Christians.
17 God dos not see people the way we do but different. We can be great in the eyes of the world by gathering up treasures but, the Lord sees the treasures we lay up in heaven.
18 We are to use what God gives us to carry out the great commission.
19 We know we are His by having Him correct us and guide us but if we are getting this when we are outside His will then we are not His.
20 We have to be willing to allow the Lord to change us and by doing this we are given more and more changes to serve the Lord.
21 The Christian walk is about overcoming the struggles of this life.
22 We should keep our eyes open to the truth of the word.
