THE CHURCH/THE POPE/THE SCHISM

This Pope is ruining the CC and I knew this already in about 2015 or so.

Now he's stating, in writing, that a homosexual person can be blessed, which would be OK if he decided to live as God would want,
but he means that even a couple could be blessed, as long as it doesn't have the trappings of a wedding...clothing, flowers,etc.

How would a priest bless a sinful action?
A blessing is for the express service of allowing the blessed to be of service to God.
The CC has always taught that homosexuality (practiced) is a sinful life.

A Pope takes an oath that he will not change church doctrine.
This pope has changed 3 doctrine I could think of just off the top of my head.

So. this is my question:

If a catholic person leaves the CC...
WHO is in schism?
The person leaving
or
The Pope?

I say the Pope.

He didn't call for it in the name of Christ but He's doing it as the head of the Catholic church which to me is stating as such as the Vicar of Christ.

I feel like Jesus would state, "why involve me in this?"

If a women can't conceive or carry her own baby to term and desires her own baby and another woman agrees to be a surrogate, I don't see any sin. I haven't asked the Lord about this and that's my thoughts.

Hmm, I thought it was the Catholics who frowned upon birth control. Not sure. But if so, that's none of their business either.
I see sin from the start in the examples you listed but not in surrogacy.

Yes Randy. I see what you mean.
I guess I meant that it just gets worse and worse.
Abortion started out for health reasons,
then because it was less dangerous than "back alley abortions".
and so on...

But you're right. They all started out as sinful.

The CC teaches that we're supposed to be open to life.
But Catholics practice some kind of birth control or other.
Natural is good because the body goes thru its normal routiine.
Too much to get into.
Anyway, I doubt you're really interested.
Pope John Paul II wrote a beautiful document on this - can't remember what it's called.
