Yes, I should have made that more clear- I was referring to Marilyn C ’s opening post, but also this idea of a fifth, or yet to come kingdom. It’s an erroneous idea.

Daniel describes a succession of kings, one after another- Babylon followed by the Medes and Persians, followed by Greece, followed by another not mentioned by name that ‘history’ informs us was Rome. The kingdom of God was set up in that era- “in the time of those kings” as Daniel puts it. That kingdom isn’t coming, it’s here.

Jesus came and taught us that the kingdom had already been established, was already near and here, and that it was found within. That it wasn’t like the others, just as Daniel had foretold, that it was one that would never be destroyed because it wasn’t ‘of human hands’ and that this ‘rock’ would bring those other kingdoms, all other kingdoms to an end. It says nothing of a revival.
The kingdom of God is with ourselves as we inherited the the day we became Spiritually born again from above, but yet our salvation to come on the last day for then will salvation come to all who will endured unto the end.

Scripture and history goes hand in hand when we study the deeper things of God's word, especially in the study of end times. I agree that there is still one more world ruler, but he stems out of the revived Roman Empire.
Yes history is important and we can verify the first 4 World Rulers. There is NO scriptural evidence for the Roman Empire revived after God judged it, to rise again.

`Now to HIM who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy...` (Jude 24)

Let`s give praise due to the One who `keeps us,` & `presents us....`

There has only been four Empires with the last one that received what seemed to be a deadly wound being the Roman Empire in 1798, but then the wound was healed in 1929. It takes searching scripture and history to understand that.

There is NO Roman government for God judged it. Where is the Caesar, the Council etc. History shown that that great Empire is NO more.

As to the deadly wound, that is a deception by the A/C, (AS IF it had been mortally wounded). He is one of the heads/leaders of the final beastly Gentile Global Government.
