No words can describe the pain I can’t hear
Like blindness of sight that nobody sees
Reveal if I must but mustn’t reveal fear
Words past my eyes are a muted disease

A scream in the night a bandage can’t hide
What some people notice, but refuse to realise
That deep down inside is what cant abide
In a world full of hearing, and darkness besides.

The whispers are clear
They’re hard to ignore
Fools in full gear
They bite and they gnaw
Knowing not what they bite
Nor why they seize
My phone has been ringing
With no ear to receive
