I specifically said that I wasn't Jewish. Oh and alright I'll put it in another way that you can understand then...I don't care what the Bible has to say about pork and tattoos because it's not important to me alright!? :wall I guess Jesus being the Messiah and having to fulfill scriptures and prophesies makes sense though but He would still be the king of kings nonetheless.
Whatever you say ...

Whatever you say ...

I hope that you're referring to my statement about the pork and tattoos, not about Jesus being the king of kings no matter who His earthly parents were. And just because some things in the Bible don't mean anything to me, doesn't mean that they shouldn't to you. It's like that old saying goes; "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it."

Very true!!

Who's to say a young Jewish girl who loved God hadn't at one time or another didn't pray for God to use her or even contemplating and praying for her future child that she be willing .. There are true Christian young men and women who pray to be used of God and also for their future children .. She both chose and was chosen .. The fact that the Jews were awaiting the Messiah for years through prophesy was no secret ..

I like...:
"She both chose and was chosen".

Did Jesus have a tatoo?

I think you mean salvation economy.
Please clarify...
Jesus was before the foundation of the world, but not in human form for His time was not yet to be brought into the world. God knows the beginning and the end and everything in between. Mary was chosen before the foundation of the world to bring Christ into the world in human form in Gods perfect timing. When the angel Gabriel came to her he comforted her fear and then explained she had favor in the Lord as being the chosen one and she knew it was Gods will to use her.

But was it also her choice?

Probably not but things were a lot different back then. Besides, it's like I already said I personally don't want one. But other than having to go through a lot of pain, I just don't see the harm in it.

Definitely not: "You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD." Leviticus 19:28 (NASB). Not that I feel obligated to live my life according to Leviticus, but Jesus would have.

The Runner version would be: "Thou shalt not make any tattoo marks on yourselves because IT IS THE STUPIDEST, MOST OBSCENE FASHION TREND IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD and you will sorely regret it one day."

Singer Warren Zevon got a tattoo the week he died of lung cancer because, as he said, "Isn't the whole point of getting a tattoo to do something you can regret for the rest of your life?"

Yes, I wore beads and bellbottoms, but when the fad passed (actually, I loved bellbottoms) I wasn't stuck with looking like a fool the rest of my life.

Exactly, I do believe that that is the point. A tattoo is permanent. Or I think that one can remove it but it would be very difficult to though. Like say if you got your girlfriend's or boyfriend's name tattooed on your body and then suddenly you guys break up. What's going to happen when you start dating somebody else?
