I don't want to be a kill joy and I know some have fun with Halloween, but yet it's still a Satanic day of worshiping Satan. The Bible very clearly instructs Christians to have nothing to do with the practices of darkness. Halloween is a rite with pagan, demonic roots. The Celtic people, who lived over 2,000 years ago, feared the evening of October 31st more than any other day of the year. It was the eve of the lord of the Dead. To celebrate, the people built bonfires, wore masks and costumes in order to prepare for the arrival of spirits. Fire rituals and divination were part of their celebration. Pagan priests even offered human and animal sacrifices.

That's alright you're allowed to think that Halloween is Satanic and I'm allowed to think that it's a fun and innocent holiday. As the saying goes, to each their own. :shrug And yes I was already expecting a response like this.

By the way, just so everybody already knows, I respect the opinions of everybody on here,.. but for anybody who is interested, I have the cutest little witches hat that I picked up last year as well. :)

Halloween celebration should be avoided if you think that the devil is in it. But if you think that it is a time for revisiting our need to overcome fears and superstitions, then perhaps it is a good thing. After all, it is "All Saints Eve" - "Hallowed Even."

Personally, I look forward to giving out candy and tracts to the children who come knocking.
TD:)

and the truth is these celebrations by satanists luciferians witches etc still occur every halloween - so christians who celebrate halloween are doing it on the same day haters of God are also celebrating by harming innocent animals/babies/teens/etc as part of the satanic rituals

for me halloween is a day to pray against these evil celebrations - and for the innocent victims who will be harmed by those celebrating satan/lucifer/the lord of the dead

Before I like this comment I just wanted to know whether or not you are for or against the innocent fun of Halloween of dressing up, eating candy, carving pumpkins, etc.

i'm not against fun or dressing up or eating GOOD foods -

for me if satanists luciferians witches are hurting innocent people and animals as part of their halloween rituals i want to pray for the 24 hr time span that they are doing this worldwide

having fun on that day is not something i can do

i would feel like i am abandoning the victims by celebrating anything during this 24 hr time span

Alright, I can understand that. As the old saying goes, to each their own. :shrug

By the way, you still received a like for this but I can't stand the people who take it that far either.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them, Ephesians 5:1, 8-11.

April, we are only concerned for your well being as even partaking in what you might see is fun and innocent brings no glory to God and I know you love the Lord and want to please Him. It is your choice to dress up as death and please do not be mad at us as we are only trying to help teach you.

Nope, I'm not mad. It won't change my mind but I'm not mad. No worries. :)

Oh and considering the fact I'm not a Satanist or part of any occult, I do believe that pleases the Lord very much. The kind of fun I'm having is completely innocent and & have talked to quite a few Christians on here who feel exactly the same way I do so it really is all a matter of opinion and personal preference.

April, please don't be mad at me for addressing this here. I know it's highly off topic, and your fun is well intentioned.

Its just SO rare for anyone to be aware of what's being said here! I haven't seen it discussed anywhere on this site. In short, some of the cruelest things people can do to another do happen predictably, at ritual abuse. Halloween isn't the only such event, nor is it the worst, or the most active.

While one might expect the authorities to put a stop to it, the fact is our government couldn't find any evidence and concluded it doesn't happen. Is that deliberate? An honest mistake?

Nothing like that is happening with the OP, nor with typical Halloween costume parties

No offense taken. :) Anyways,.. so having said all that. What do you think of the costume? Pretty cool eh? ;)

Did you ever see the Saturday Night Live skit, where they spoofed Steve Bannon? You could say you're dressing up as Steve Bannon, lol

I encourage you to exercise your Faith: that death is a defeated foe, and you are not afraid of it because Jesus is our Redeemer.
Does that work for you?

"To her that is pure, all things are pure."
Titus 1:15

There's some great stuff in the NT waiting for you to discover it, so I'm making another plug.

Nobody will have to wonder what your costume is, which I think is the whole point of having a costume? I remember my first Halloween costume, in Kindergarten; it was home made and nobody had any idea what I was supposed to be. I think I was traumatized for life, lol

Lol! No I don't know the Steve Bannon skit even though I am very familiar with SNL. I just call it my Grim Reaper costume because I don't talk whenever I'm wearing it since it makes it an even bigger and scarier mystery of who's underneath it.
