Today I just happened to have the stress of having a spiritual attack when I couldn't think straight at all as the devil was yet again trying to steal my salvation as I wrote about in Christian Talk and Advice. However, John 10:28-30 says that is impossible so I buried him once again. :bricks

Why do you worry?
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Put your worries behind and keep your eyes focused ahead. Where your treasure is, your heart will follow. Why then is your heart set on loss? Why do you treasure loss?

Have you read my other thread that delt with my spiritual attack yet by any chance?

No, I'm sorry, I don't think I have. I think we've all been under spiritual attack, but we are warriors for Christ.

for_his_glory, this would be a nice study for our Sister if you have a bit to lead us. I know it's much needed when we are attacked spiritually and Satan tries to get us to doubt.

Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The thief in this verse is Satan who wants to destroy all those who are of Christ own as he tries to steal our faith in Christ Jesus. In spiritual warfare you have to understand and recognize the enemy that tries to attack us on a daily basis. His favorite place to attack us is within the thoughts of our mind, especially if there is any doubt with those who waver their faith, which means those who have yet to completely put their trust in God.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

In post # 84 StoveBolts gave us the solution to combat against spiritual warfare found in Ephesians 6:10-18. I would also like to add Psalms 91 as these are the promises of God we need to be standing on.

Satan only wins if we allow him to win. He might win a few battles when we are in the flesh, but never the war if we stay steadfast in the Lord and walk in the Spirit.

May I just add here that I have practically gone to trusting the Lord with my whole entire heart? That can't make Satan happy at all.

Excellent post!
Because your well equipped and have the time, would you consider a study on the full armor of God on a verse by verse study?

It doesn't make Satan happy, but does put him on the attack and will use anything or anybody to come against you. Just be aware of this and keep rebuking him in the name of Jesus and he will flee.

I also started using; "the power of Christ condemns you" (yeah, yeah, yeah I know, so what if I got that from The Exorcist? :lol It still worked so,...) and ; "in the name of Jesus Christ I demanded you to leave" and finally I just swore at him and told him to leave him alone until he finally left. :wink

Ya, we don't have to get all "Exorcist" or gangsta on him as all we need is to rebuke and bind him in the name of Jesus as God commands him to leave.

BTW, I made a new thread in Bible Study forum call the Armour of God I'd like you to go study as it will help you to learn this.
