Dumbo

I'm going to be going to the theaters to see the remake in about a week with a friend since it comes out next weekend, and although I'm a little bit on the fence about it since I've loved the classic ever since I was a little kid, I have to admit that it actually looks pretty good. It's just that even though I love Tim Burton, I'm skeptical about what he's going to do with this children's classic. It also seems like there aren't any original movies being made anymore and everything nowadays is just remakes and sequels. Still even for bad movies, the buttery popcorn alone is worth it.

Well I just came back from the theaters and I must say that although I didn't like this Dumbo movie as much as the old one it was pretty good unlike what most of the reviews were saying about it. I'm not going to give away any spoilers but I'm pretty sure that's because the twist ending.

You're welcome but if you want to go see it you probably shouldn't wait too long because of the fact that it's mostly getting negative reviews and that usually means that they pull it from the theaters sooner than later. You might have to wait awhile for the movie to begin though, I had to sit through twenty minutes worth of previews. A few previews were worth it though like Toy Story 4, Angry Birds 2, and the new Aladdin live action movie. I want to see all three of them but right now Aladdin is the one that is mostly exciting me.








I also want to go see the new Lion King movie when it comes out.
