he's my older, wiser, Pentecostal lady friend's son. He's...50ish, maybe?....and he had an accident at work. So far, the company is being very understanding+helpful, and I'm thankful. And yet...

maybe its the commie in me, but I think he should speak to a lawyer. Just sayin'. Aside from that, he's got to see specialists, he's taking pain Rx, etc. not fun. she's there to help him out, thank goodness, and...

I just hope+pray The Lord will work it out. thanks. :)

He needs to do everything in his power and return to work as quickly as possible or risk his employer turning on him. My advice is no lawyers unless the employer starts making moves to terminate him. I had a back injury and almost lost my job over it. I got hurt on the job a few times after that and just covered it up.
 
me again. I hope+pray the best for david, most definitely God's perfect will. He just has a kind of...hardcore...employer, but they softened up on the employees after losing a bunch of people.
 
Make sure he documents everything from the time of his injury to the doctor visits and how the company is handling all of this just in case he might need a lawyer down the road. He is in my prayers.

Yep. He should also understand that the "Privacy" form he signs at the doctor's does absolutely nothing to protect his privacy because it is not a Privacy Form at all...........It is a Medical Records Release Form to be given away to whoever the doctor chooses.
