Heb 9:27 it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Judgment Day - 2 Final Judgment Seats

1) Judgment seat of Christ: Rom 14:10, 2 Cor 5:10, Phil 1:6, 1 Cor 1:8 = believers only.

2) White Throne Judgment: Rev 20:11-13 = non-believers only.

The people at the White Throne Judgment have rejected Christ's, redemptive sin atonement & are judged according to the Law

Everything anyone has ever done or said, has been "RECORDED"

Without Christ there is no cloak for sin (Jn 15:22) At the White Throne Judgement, every sin, every lie, every time God was mocked, every idle word ever spoken, is judged. What's the litmus test for sin - The LAW!

Jesus said, the one who rejects me & does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day (John 12:46-50)

Those at The White Throne Judgment Seat are found in Rev 20:11-13. (NO Believers will be judged here: Jesus took their judgment on the cross)

John 5:24 Jesus said; Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life
(NOTE: Believers will not be judge for thier sin.)

Believers go to the Judgment Seat of Christ; 2 Cor 5:10 & Rom 14:10.

Here sin is not discussed. Faith placed in Christ's Redemptive Sin Atoning Death (sins wage PAID), burial (proof he died) & resurrection (God's receipt, sin payment received & accepted). ALL of the believers sins are IMPUTED onto Jesus & nailed to His Cross (Col 2:14)

When Jesus said; ITS FINISHED! (John 19:30) What was finished? The work of REDEMPTION! Every worldly sin any believer ever committed was PAID FOR IN FULL. Thru faith placed in Gods grace & Jesus sin atoning death, burial & resurrection. A full pardon/remission of sin is given!

No believer will never be condemned/judged for sin (Rom 8:1)

The believers Sins have been removed: As far as the east is from the west (Ps 103:12)

Christians are judged for their works in Him, be they good or bad:
(NOTE: Even a drink of water given in his name, receives a reward Matt 10:42, Rev 22:12)

Eph 6:
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,
(NOTE: We are to KNOW our works done in His service. Will be rewarded by Christ personally)

1 Cor 3:8-14 Good works receive a reward. Bad or No works (DEAD) result in shame & or loss (Matt 25:28 take the talent, I gave him, & give it to another, that worked)

For any sinful works, he shall suffer loss, forfeit a special reward; "NOT" that he shall lose salvation.

Salvation a free gift, not a "reward" or wage. A gift is given, not earned. A gift can be rejcted as well.

1 Cor 3:
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
(NOTE: Gold & silver = Good works done in Christ's name. Hay, wood & stubble = no works, selfish works, even bad works)

13 Each one’s work will become manifest, the Day (of ones judgment) will disclose it, it will be revealed by fire, & the fire will test what sort of work each one has done
(NOTE: Every deed will be tested, good or bad)

14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives ""he will receive a reward""
(NOTE: Gold & silver deeds, will receive a reward)

15 If anyone’s work is burned up, "he will suffer loss", "though he himself will be saved"
(NOTE: Hay, wood & stubble deeds will bring, shame & loss = of REWARDS not SALVATION)

Rereading verse 15: He "Will SUFFER LOSS", though he "HIMSELF WILL BE SAVED"

The believers WORKS, done in Christ's name, will be tested (NOT THIER SALVATION) Hay, wood & stubble works will be burned up. Also, earned rewards can be lost, but, the bleievers soul still be saved. God will not cast off a believing soul for any failure of sin. The believers salvation foundation is the finished (REDEMPTIVE) work of the faithfully righteous One = Jesus the Christ.

At the moment a person becomes a Christian they receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is referred to as a “deposit” “seal” "the earnest” put in the heart of Christians The Holy Spirit is God’s seal on His people.

The Holy Spirit is given to believers as security deposit. (2 Cor 1:22; 5:5; Eph 1:13-14; 4:30)

At the White Throne Judgment, Rev 20:11-13:

All the UNBELIEVING people who REJECTED God's grace & would not place thier trust in Christ's sin atoning sacrifice. Will be judge for every sin, every unbelieving word they ever spoke.

Blasphemy the Holy Spirit the only unforgivable sin (Mk 3:22–30 & Mat 12:22–32). This blasphemy is to reject God's grace found is Jesus sin atoning sacrifice, until lifes end.

Always offered via the "Holy Spirit". For this REJECTION/UNBELIEF there is NO forgiveness.

Believers Have Eternal Life
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son "hath" everlasting life & he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

Question: Who places limits on Christ's atonement, God or man?

1 John 2:2 Jesus is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also ""for the sins of the whole world"".

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, ""which taketh away the sin of the world"".

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give ""for the life of the world"".

1 Timothy 2:6 Who ""gave himself a ransom for all"", to be testified in due time.

Recap:
Christ "IS" the propitiation = the reconciliation/atoning SIN sacrifice: 1 Jn 2:2 "for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD" Jn 1:29 "TAKES AWAY the SIN of the WORLD" Jn 6:51 "for the life of the WORLD" 1 Tim 2:6 "gave himself a ransom for ALL"

For me, claiming what Christ SUFFERED ON THE CROSS just isn't quite good enough. And that somehow salvation is up to us, for our attempt at being sinless (good luck with that) doesn't line up with scripture.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

2 Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, & called us with an holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Eph 2:
8 By grace" are ye saved through faith not of yourselves it is the gift of God

9 Not of works lest any man should boast

Final thought:
This post doesn't claim sin has zero consequence. The consequence from sinning could manifest itself, in many different ways. A health issue, a broken relationship, disease, lost of rewards heavenly & or earthly.

However, the post points out, a believers sin will not result in the loss of salvation. Unbelief is the only unforgivable sin.

It's not the law that judges us, but God's righteous judgement as the law was made a curse unto those who are now under the new covenant of God's grace.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Hello for_his_glory,
My post's intent was about the New Jerusalem. Someone that disagreed (no harm, no foul) with posted scripture. Tried to & it would seem, turned it into something else.

I'm a bit confused with parts of your post.

You post QUOTE "the law was made a curse unto those who are now under the new covenant of God's grace". Then you post Gal 3:13 that completly contradicts your statement.

Gal 3:13 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
(NOTE: on the Cross, Christ was made/became a curse for us. Faith placed in Christ's sin payment redeems us from the laws power. Which is to expose & comdemn our sin. Death is sins wage/price & a sinless God/Christ PAID it's wage. At the 1st passover, the blood of sacrifice was put on the doorposts, by faith they walked thru the door & the angel of death pass. We are to come to God confess that we have sinned against His Holy rule. And for us, to excape our just punishment, we are to place our faith in Christ's FINISHED SIN REDEMPTIVE WORK)

Correct me if I'm wrong, based on your 2nd posted verse from Heb. One willful sin committed EVER, can cost a believer thier salvation? I respectfully disagree with this interpretation. I've seen the destructive, you better not EVER sin dogma. Rob & ruin many babes of there joy & peace.

The book is written to HEBREWS. Life revolved around Temple fellowship/worship/sacrifices. Those that had understood & believed on Christ's ONCE & For ALL sacrifice. Feared seperating themselves from the religous leaders (like Saul of Tarsus) because of tremendous persecution, even imprisonment. The writter is making it clear to them, your Temple sacrifices are now WORTHLESS. Not only are they WORTHLESS going back to them will bring God's indignation & judgment.

The main theme throughout the book of Hebrews is BETTER.
Christ is BETTER: Better then angels, because they worship the Christ. Better then Moses, because He created Him. Better then the Aaronic priesthood, because Christ's sin sacrifice is ONCE & FOR ALL TIME. Better then the law, because Christ mediates a better covenant.

for_his_glory, how do you read Heb 10:
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
(QUESTION: Until they commit ONE more sin? )

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
(NOTE: God say's where there is remission = pardon. Where does this remission some come from? Our sinlessness or Faith our in Christ's payment? Answer: Remission/sin pardon comes from Christ's ONCE & FOR ALL SIN SACRIFICE. Context: There is no longer a need to bring a sin offering to the Temple. Here is the context leading up to vs 26!!!)

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
(QUESTION: How do we enter into God's presence? Thru our sinless perfection? NO! Thru faith in Christ's ONCE & FOR ALL SIN SACRIFICE.)

Rom 5:
17 For if by one man's (ADAM) offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience (ADAM) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (JESUS CHRIST) shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
(NOTE: God's grace & Jesus Christ payment conquer sin & death)

Finally, I'm good with whatever comes next. I read mote then one posts on this thread from more then one person. Promoting, God's out to get you doctrine's & none were removed. This false dodma conflicts with my conscience, therefore I'm compelled to contend for my faith. Feel free to remove the post & my access if you see fit.

Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 1:22 & Eph 4:30 Refer to the Holy Spirit as a Seal.

2 Tim 1:14 The Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you
(NOTE: The Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Is God's deposit & guards us until the day of redemption)

2 Cor 5:5 God, who also hath given unto us the "earnest" of the Spirit
(NOTE: God's Holy Spirit dwelling within us is the earnest. Earnest translated from the Greek word: arrabon. Also means a pledge)

2 Cor 1:22 Who hath also "sealed us" & "given the earnest" of the Holy Spirit in our hearts
(NOTE: God has placed His Holy Spirit in the believers heart. As a pledge & a SEAL until the soon coming day of our redemption)

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(NOTE: You heard about Christ's finished sin redemptive payment & resurrection. When you believed/trusted, Christ sealed/baptized you with His Holy Spirit).

Eph1:14 Which is the "earnest" of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession
(NOTE: The Holy Spirit bywhich Christ baptizes/seals & indwells us. Is the earnest = a down paymnt, a pledge, a promise, a guarantee)

1 John 5:13 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(NOTE: John writes: that you may know ""PRESENT TENSE"" that you have eternal life)

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Eph 4:30 grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are "sealed" unto the day of redemption
(NOTE: Believers are SEALED with God's Holy Spirit. It's a pledge, pomise, guard & guarentee that Christ will come for us. SEALED UNTIL THE FINAL DAY!)

God's indwelling Holy Spirit SEALS the believer until Christ redeems & give then a New incorruptible heavenly body.

Once saved alwaly's saved? Yes! & YES!! May God's grace be multiplied yo you & yours.

I will start out saying we no longer discuss OSAS vs OSNAS as you can see the scrolling at the top of the page.

It's not a contradiction when you read all of Galatians chapter three and knowing that for as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse for it is written, cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them The book of the law contains 613 laws. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident because no one could be obedient to 613 laws for the just shall live by faith and the law is not of faith but, the man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Willful sin is that of putting to shame and denying the blood of Christ that has redeemed you from your sin. Willful sin is knowing you are going to sin and think it's alright because you are already forgiven past, present and future which is a false teaching. It is only our past sins that have been forgiven as we will always be held accountable to God for our actions here on earth.

Hebrews 10: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
The laws that Christ has put in our hearts start with the greatest which is love. Love covers all the moral laws that we are to keep as we walk in love as there is no more Jew or Gentile, but only the body of Christ through faith in Him knowing we are now the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in us and if we defile that temple God will destroy us, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17.
