We all know that in the Last Days with the second coming of Jesus there will be another "Holy War".

Maybe this one can be seen as that?

Let us discuss.

This is the only war we Christians are ever part of;

2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

(2Co 6:7) By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

(Rom 13:12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come...

I totally agree. We are always in a Holy War. Being persecuted as Jesus said we will be. In this one I am persecuted by my hometown because I spoke against corporal punishment as not God's way in disciplining our kids. We have to learn in our own houses how God's disciplining work. Then we can move out to our communities and into general society too.

In this Atheist forum they of course do not believe this and met now with it. So they first banned me because of the Fire of Gods Word. And now after some days I am allowed back. And they are again in the Fire of God's Words. I wonder how long they will last this time before I am "banned" again.

There will always be holy wars between Satan and God's people. During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. The last Holy war will be when Jesus plants His feet on the mount of Olives to destroy Satan and his legion of demons and devils that work through others once and for all eternity casting him into the lake of fire after the battle of Armageddon.

We do not enter the Millennial Kingdom here on earth in our natural bodies, but in new glorified bodies, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. When Christ returns in the air on the last day we are then caught up to meet Him in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord as He has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth as we rule with Him over the nations as His enemies have become His footstool in the end of days, John 5:28, 29; 6:40; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Rev 5:10; Psalms 110:1-4; Hebrews 10:12, 13.

Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21 Jesus descends down from heaven with His army of the host (angels) of heaven as while remaining in the air He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him. He will destroy the beast and false prophet casting them alive into the lake of fire, Rev 19:15, 16. The remnant in Rev 19:21 are the world leaders of every nation on the earth that have followed after the beast that rules their government. The remnant will be slain by the very words Jesus speaks of their damnation as the fowls will be filled with their flesh and at that time Satan will be chained and bound so he can not interfere with the ungodly people that are still alive on earth that become the footstool of Christ. Then the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and He shall reign for ever and the saints will begin to rule over the nations here on earth, Rev 11:15; 5:10; 20:1-3; Matthew 5:5.

Rev 20:7-10 Those that have rejected Christ that still remain on earth after the beast, false prophet and all the ruling leaders from every nation that followed after the beast are destroyed are those who are the numbering as the sand of the sea. These are the enemy of God that Satan uses to battle against the saints during the battle of Armageddon that are camped upon the breadth of the earth after he is released for a season, Psalms 2:7-10; 110; Ezekiel 36; 37; Rev 20:7-9. The saints are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth. It's only the 144,000 generational Jews that believe in Christ that have returned to Jerusalem. After the 1000 years are fulfilled Satan is set loosed for a season and goes out to deceive the nations as he gathers the enemies of Christ to battle against the saints as the numbering of unbelievers is like the sand of the sea. As the enemy surrounds the camp of the saints God sends fire down from heaven and destroys the enemy and Satan is cast into the lake of fire. Zechariah 14:1, 2; Luke 21:20 and Rev 16:16 mentions the battle of Armageddon when Christ and His army of angels return as Christ plants His feet on the mount of Olives for the final battle as Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel Chapter 38 is the battle of Rev 20:7-9.

(IMO 1000 years is a figurative number, not a literal number. It is figurative like the numbering in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.)

John 5:28, 29; Rev 20:11-15, now comes the Great White throne judgment as the books are opened with one of them being the Lamb's book of life where all the saints of God have their names written as they have part of the first resurrection of eternal life on such the second death hath no power, Rev 20:6; 1 Corinthians 15:54-57. The other book is opened being the book of damnation where the enemies of God that were killed while trying to destroy the camp of the saints are now joined with those enemies of Christ that were also raised from their graves and are reserved, 2 Peter 2:9, as now since they were condemned and judged will be cast into the lake of fire. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. While the saints are with Jesus the earth will be renewed and the New Jerusalem is ushered down from heaven, Rev 21.

Matthew 24:22 these days are shortened for a time that only God holds back or extends to allow His purpose for the last one to repent and turn back to Him before Christ returns, Rev 19, as God alone knows their name. Only God can shorten days like He did with Hezekiah as He caused the sundial to go backwards ten degrees, Isaiah 38:8, which was possibly five hours and again in Joshua 10:12-14 God extended the daylight for Joshua to defeat the Amorites.

Christ returns on the last day at the seventh trumpet and on that day His Bride being the collective body of believers through faith in Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption will be caught up to Him. Both asleep in their grave and those who are alive at His coming will then be kept safe on that day while Christ fights the final battle casting the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire and slaying all those nations (people) who come out to fight against Him.
(John 5:25-30; 6:40; Ephesians 1:3-14;1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Rev 19; Zechariah 14:1-6; Luke 21:20-22)

It's been awhile and welcome back :)

I went to that website and of course you would be banned from an atheist website, but never give up with them as God has won many over through His faithful servants.

Thanks for the welcoming note. It was a blessing to my heart when I noticed you remembered me.

You are right in your discernment that what was said their would really be upsetting them so much that a "ban" is their only way out of their corner. But of course they know it. And many noticed. You will notice that some noticed that they do not see the evidence for my ban. Which was "doxing".

This mean of course that God spoke to them. And those that are worthy will look for me. Outside of their Forum. As it is no use keeping on with "strife" after everything has been said. And we have to "shake the dust" and move on. The internet is huge.

Mat. 10
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

But the heart of this post was actually the "Holy War" itself. Did you understand what it is all about?

You gave a lot here. From the traditional understanding. I have another one here. We enter the "Holy War" when we are ready. We just need to grow up to that point where God can create the "weapons" of it in us and then we start. He has to change our

Joel 3
9 ¶Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:*n3
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

So we have to come to the point where God make us "strong". Because we are actually "worms".

Isaiah 41
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith theLord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.*n10
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.*n11
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

We have to see Jesus in another Revelation.

Isaiah 63

1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.*n1
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

And we have to allow our Father to create the Ability to "War" in us. Because in the Word on the Son given to us we got that Ability too. But it is not for God's Children but for His Grown Ups. Ready to enter into another Characteristic of Christ created in us.

Rev. 19

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

This reminds me of the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 especially vs. 45-47 as the battle belongs to the Lord who has given us the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:10-20, until the events of the coming of Christ Jesus in Rev 19:11-21 who will then destroy all the evil in this world casting it all into the lake of fire.

Good that you link these Holy Fights. Where everyone was actually Fighting. But suddenly you change with the last one. Where Jesus is going to destroy evil. But we are the ones called to do the battle? Why would God suddenly change?

We are called to battle as our battle is Spiritual warfare as we wear the full armour of God as we go into battle, Ephesians 6:10-20. God always delivers the enemy into our hands as He goes before us in battle like He did in those battles we read about in the OT. The final battle will be that of the battle of Armageddon when Christ returns and plants His feet on the mount of Olives.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

As you have said, if you are called to battle....

But armor is not the garment of a Bride, nor is a Bride called to fight, for she is at rest.

Put on your amor of God, fashioned in your own design. Run off to do battle; But careful that you don't find yourself fighting against Zion.

As you have said, if you are called to battle....
This of course is the heart of it all. It is to go into "battle" in the Spirit of God.

But armor is not the garment of a Bride, nor is a Bride called to fight, for she is at rest.
If that is your calling then you rest. But it is mostly the "fear" of the "worm".

Put on your amor of God, fashioned in your own design. Run off to do battle; But careful that you don't find yourself fighting against Zion.
In the Spirit of God you are Zion.

Please show me the scripture for this.

Not until you show a willingness to discuss it and actually have a dialog. When you can simply answer my questions, then I will consider it, but you would have to be specific as to what scripture you wanted to see.

1. What garment is fit for a Bride?

2. Does a Bride make herself ready by fighting?

See. Simple questions. No need to quote scripture to answer. What say you?

The nature of our calling as a Bride of Christ is to be prepared for Spiritual battle here on earth by wearing the full armor of God that we can stand against the enemy until Christ returns. It's when Christ returns and we are caught up to Him that our garment will be of fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The nature of our calling is to enter into our rest. But some because of unbelief will not enter into their rest; Some would seek a battle instead.

Amidst all that fine armor, the marching boots, the helmet, the shield and sword; might I ask the wise virgin where the oil trim lamp may be?

We are called to both rest and to fight. At an appointment time.
Jesus is seated now I heaven.
But He will rise up when that day comes!

Jesus has already defeated the enemy. The battle is already won!
Only death is not yet defeated..
We Christians also have the same victory in Christ!
But we don't understand it or act like it. Therefore we have been given the armour so that we can stand against evil.
It's not a physical armour but a spiritual one. It's really about understand who we are in Christ.
Understand the purpose!
Stay humble and be blessed..
