My family loves this show! We are originally from Louisiana so watching it reminds us of home. I don't watch the show often but when I do I really enjoy it, as long as it is not a hunting episode.
Umm...no, I don't.
(No hunting? Texas, and you don't like guns? )
Blessings.
Guns are okay, I guess, but I don't like seeing the animals killed. I eat meat, but if I think of the animal that it came from it is hard. It is actually a big change from when I was little and my dad would go hunting and I would want to sit on the dead deer. :o
My dad is actually going back to my home town (around New Orleans) later this month for his job and we are going to try to get him to bring us back a king cake from the bakery we used to get them at and hopefully some boudin. I would ask him to bring me back some beignets but those have to be fresh to be good, and I perfected a recipe to make it taste like Cafe Du Monde's.
Yeah, I agree. I actually went vegetarian for a little while, but only to see if it would help my health, which it did not. I was so happy when I could eat meat again.
I think any type of seafood is wonderful! And now I am craving some tuna or crab cakes.Rachel: Tuna is an inexpensive and nutritious meat, anyway. With sauce, my wife can turn it into a delicious meal, anyway.
Blessings.

Lol, yeah. Well I cook a lot so if I only had the ingredients I could make some.Rachel: Yes, well my wife is a bit too far from Texas and you guys, at the moment...
Blessings.

I am currently watching an episode of Duck Dynasty where Willie, Jase, and Si found a wild bee hive and are trying to get the honey from it.
