    Was Paul always correct?

Just because you don't like a teaching doesn't make it incorrect. ;)

    Was Paul always correct?

Great post. It's important to remember that Paul did not write of his own will or authority. Everything Paul said that is canonized Scripture was inspired by the Holy Spirit, so if you say that Paul was wrong then you're, in effect, saying that the Holy Spirit was wrong :o I don't know about...

Take the Book of Mormon Challenge!

My main point was that the Bible wasn't only written by Jews.

Jesus is willing for some to perish !

Again, I would just like to say that I don't believe God desires that any go to hell (2 Peter 3:9), BUT God's GREATER desire is that He only save SOME, and not ALL. Just because God doesn't desire men to go to hell doesn't mean THAT desire overrides His STRONGER desires (to only save some).

Who is the best pastor currently alive ?

I personally really like my lead pastor and another local pastor. But as far as the "bigger names" go, I really like Mark Driscoll, Francis Chan, and John Piper.

What is the Mark of the Beast?

Bam! :thumb The imminent language of Revelation hardly seems fitting to mean 2,000 yrs later.

Take the Book of Mormon Challenge!

Did not God choose Israel to be His people? Wouldn't that be classified as "favoritism"? So, that argument is moot. Furthermore, God did not only speak to Jews - Last I checked, the 2 biggest books in the NT were written by a Hellenist/Gentile (Luke). :study

What is the Mark of the Beast?

I'm inclined to believe that the Beast was Caesar Nero in the mid 60s AD. I know that's not as exciting as trying to figure out the "Beast mystery" from present-day newspapers, but it seems most contextual to me.

Jesus is willing for some to perish !

The OP may have been a bit ambiguous. I don't believe that Jesus delighted in those going to hell or even necessarily desired it. I do believe though that Jesus is delighted in the fullness of who God is, and that includes God's justice, righteousness, and holiness. In order for those attributes...

What is the Mark of the Beast?

The mark is not a literal mark, it refers to where your allegiance lies (with God or with the world) It shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes, for by a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt. - Exodus 13:16 And you shall bind them [God's commandments] as a sign...
