Another thread about women huh? lol
My 2.5 cents says there's a difference between admiring and lusting. Lusting is more like when the man (or woman looking at a guy) is checking out every curve and envisioning, or wondering what it would be like to bed the person.
I'm not sure what you're saying. The information is not false according to the many men who have come out of Freemasonry and admitted to it.
farouk ..lol.. Freemasonry is not open to women. The Order of the Eastern Star is the division for women.
I would take this to mean that as one is caught up or translated, they will be filled with joyful ecstasy (rapt/raptured) during the "meeting of our Lord in the expanse (air)".
I'd be interested in knowing more about the etymology of the word "translation" and "translated" in regards to...
Yeah... without Jesus for sure. When someone enters the Masons they originally think it's just a harmless secret society.. but as they move up levels they have to take more & more oaths until they reach the top levels in which they dedicate themselves to lucifer. Quite frightening.
I do not use the word rapture.
I use the word "translation" which is what will happen to us when Jesus comes to catch us away -- we will be translated like Enoch and Elijah were translated (caught away)
The word rapture however means to be taken into some form of 'ecstasy'
I've only gotten one fourth of the way thru the book. It is heartbreaking yet inspiring. I believe stongly there are those alive today in North America who will be martyred for Jesus years from now
wow this is a great testimony. There is a lot of abuse which goes on in Freemasonry. Not sure if your order was one of those but here in Canada Freemasons have been linked to the Illuminati and other cults.
hi Christ_empowered
I don't know if I am too excited about ageing as a believer. I'm a fair deal vain so it's hard for me.. lol. I haven't noticed any perks to being a believer and my health but I sure do look forward to having a redeemed body!
I know of a woman who went to a miracle service...
argh. I lost the long reply I wrote when I got logged out :(
Anyway... I won't go into labelling arguments, all I can do is share what God did for me which was convict me so that I wasn't living under today's hyper-grace message.. and then He made me give up trying to quit. As soon as I gave...
I see it running rampant thru the body of Christ on a number of levels ...
1. The body is being "entertained to death" (spiritual death to be exact): Hours of TV watching, hours of computer gaming or playing online which is of no spiritual benefit, thinking more about "responsibilities"...
Amen farouk, good stuff.
I look at so many of the believers of today.. my own parents and siblings have become so materialistic. There is no faith or communion with God, there is only chatter about social functions and who is who and which socially acceptable person will be there. Not long...
I believe the spear of Phineas today manifests itself in believers as loving what God loves and hating what God hates. Everything in the OT is a type & shadow for something in the NT era (this present age), so this is how I view the spear of Phineas, as a holy jealousy for the things of God.
